Urias Fuentes So far, I have learned So far, I have learned that a popsicle stick chain reaction normally comes from potential kinetic energy. When you twist the popsicle sticks together, you are frequently creating potential energy. When you are forming a popsicle chain reaction you need to make sure that each popsicle stick is vertically on top and under the previous stick which creates the tension in the wood of the popsicle stick. When you have your preferred chain length you release, and all the tension and potential energy is released in a chain reaction of kinetic energy. I have learned that for a chemical reaction to take place, the particles involved in the reaction must collide with each other. It is unnecessary for all …show more content…

How does momentum work in the Physics of Motion? Momentum is the product of the velocity of an object and the mass of the object. The equation for momentum is P=MV P=momentum M=mass V= velocity. The direction where momentum goes, the velocity and the change in momentum are equal. When a force is applied it relates to both the amount of force and the amount of time for which it is applied. What were Newton’s 3 Laws of motion? The First law of Motion for Newton states “A body in motion will remain at rest, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless it is acted upon by an external force.” It also states that things can’t start, stop, or change direction by themselves. The First Law of Motion is known as inertia. The Second Law of Motion states “the force acting on an object is equal to the mass of that object times the acceleration. (F=MA). The Second Law of Motion describes what occurs to a massive body when it is acted upon by an external force. When a constant force acts on a massive body it causes to accelerate, and change its velocity, at a constant rate. If the object has been in motion, Jupiter Ed
