Attitude: My position about writing is that I dislike the exercise, I know this course will help me appreciate the writing. The main problem I have is putting my ideas in writing. I am sure this course will help me to be able to state my ideas, then improving my writing skills, it is important to me to write my ideas clearly. The support of my family encourages me to continue to practice writing. My dislike of the exercise of writing will make my progress slower. I know practice will help and encouragement and constructive criticism from my instructor will make me a better writer. It is important to me to write my ideas clearly.

I know that I will make mistakes, but with every mistake, the instructor corrects I will learn more. I will make a strong attempt to do my best and go forward with each word I write. I am going to work hard on this course and learn to put words in place to express my ideas well.
June 30, 2017, ENTRY 2: The Role of Correctness:
The role of correctness is to help your audience to understand what is written. Grammar plays a big role in writing. The reader of your essay does not read the words alone but must understand the meaning that is expressed. If the reader cannot understand your ideas then the role of correctness was used and the relationship between your reader and your story will not bond together. My weakness is the lack of practice of writing. It is difficult for me to put my thoughts and ideas in an organized manner. My strengths are that I am a hard worker and willing to learn.

Achievements this week: 1. The Fortegra files that Ross asked me to compare with Provyde litigation files were not getting appended to an Access file due to the volume of the data. This required me to export the two million records to Excel file and split them in 20 Separate individual sheets. The analysis required me to model a master spreadsheet with formulas that could automate the comparison between the two. 2.
In the second model our dummy variable membership in the EU was substituted by the dummy variable membership in the economic and monetary union and therefore we want to investigate whether it is advantageous to be a member of the Economic and Monetary Union or not. Now we denote year by t and country by i and use the following estimation for our basic model: lnfdiit = β0 + β1(wages)it + β2(lnpop)it + β3(lnpatent)it + β4(gdp_growth)it + β5(lnelectric)it + β6(openness)it + β7(unemployment)it

As a student myself, I understand the dislike for writing and the idea that it's not as useful as other things. This piece shows students that writing is so much more than that, but you can only see this if you understand the purpose and
The article by Donald Murray entitled, “The Maker’s Eye: Revising Your Own Manuscripts” provides readers a better understanding of the writing process and argues that writers learn to write, by writing and rewriting. Murray also contends that writers must learn to be their own best enemy. Well, I believe I have this trait covered! I will confess, that I purposely saved this course for last, due to the number of years between my last structured learning experience and returning to school to complete a BSN degree.
Dear AP Student, Congratulations for signing up for this class. Let me personally welcome you to what will be one of the most fun yet difficult English classes of Regis Jesuit you may experience. You have just opened up a world of exciting literature, rigorous studies, and very little sleep. However, if you can get the hang of this course (that will no doubt teach you the basic skills you need to know for any kind of writing), you WILL go far in life. One major component of “AP English Language and Composition” is actually getting down to the nitty-gritty, to actually write a… composition.
Lejla Hodzic Mrs.Monroe English III(H): Period 3 Journal Reflection-MP1 When first writing in my journal I struggled with how deep to go with my discussion questions and what I should be asking my classmates. I feel that I have struggled with this because I lack confidence on what I am trying to prove or say in my writing. When reading in the past I have never pushed myself to question the author’s purpose or ask questions that invoke much thought. Up to this point in the year writing in my journal as well as annotating in the text, has helped my reading and writing immensely.
1. How did writing first develop? What was its function? Who invented it? Writing first developed as tokens, which were merely clay pieces about the size of a quarter. The tokens represented an accounting system and were used to record items purchased or sold such as goats, sheep or even bottles of wine.

English 102 Reflection During the course of English 102, I took this year of the spring semester. I have accomplished a variety of goals I once thought were impossible. I pay attention to my punctuation and grammar more as I have polished them more now, not only when I write but then others write as well. I am constantly looking for errors and I highly think this is helping me a lot in my career.

When it comes to writing I have always struggled forming the ideas in my head into actual sentences. The modules that we have worked on have made me realize that a lot of writers struggle with the same problem. I had always figured that my ideas would come across as long as I understood them unfortunately I was wrong. At first, while I was working on these modules I thought that the work we were doing was not going to be of any help to me.
