The use of technology has grown in constant for many years, distracting people from things that are important. Texting and driving is one of the biggest problems in USA. However, not only are drivers putting themselves in danger, they’re putting passengers in their car and other drivers on the road in danger, too. For example, one day I was driving with my sister and she was sitting in the back seat of the car. Suddenly I got a message and I just ignored it, after awhile I got a new message too. I grabbed my phone to check them and then I started reading them. I forgot about driving and all my focus was on the text that was on my cellular. Unfortunately, I crashed into two cars in front of me and my car was damaged a lot, but Luckily no one got hurt. From that collision I started to leave my phone in the back or in a spot that I can’t reach while driving. Not all countries have banned using cell phones in the vehicle. The banning will only decrease collisions and not stop collision once and for all. People are still going to get away with using the cell phone and driving. Several United States cities and other countries such as Canada have considered banning the use of cellphones while driving. In conclusion, texting while driving should be banned and police should increase the amount of the tickets for people who do it. texting driving is not safe and a lot of people got car accident I’m a testimony of that.
