Satire on Republicans: A plan to save America that our Founding Fathers envisioned should follow three steps 1) making the rich richer 2) helping voting registration and 3) controlling immigration. First and foremost we must cut deficit spending and taxes for the rich. This means we need to cut on welfare spending, Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid because the poor, sick, and elderly definitely do not need societies help, especially in times of recession when there are no jobs and prices keep rising. No we need to let the rich get richer. And while we are at it let 's make sure we help future generations of children from having the burden of debt we created by cutting back on education – it 's for the children – they are the
Satire: 16 & Pregnant “Hi, I’m Betty and I’m from Jefftown, West Carolina. I live at home with my grandparents because my parents we’re too young to take care of me. I spend my day’s at home watching t.v., cooking, and lurking on social media. My boyfriend and I just recently broke up. But never mind that, I have other things to be worrying about because I’m pregnant.”
Without a doubt the wealth gap between the rich and the poor has continue to widen. In an article called “Fueled by Recession, U.S. Wealth Gap Is Widest in Decades, Study Finds” written by Patricia Cohen, point out the widening wealth gap between the upper-income compared to the middle-income and low-income. Essentially, upper income wealth has increased 101 percent; it was $318,000 in 1983 and increased to $639,400 in 2013. While low income has decreased 18.4 percent; it was $11,400 in 1983 and decreased to 9,300 in 2013. I think that the government should implement policies to reduce the inequality because it’s becoming an issue.
In the book Candide there was many lessons through out the book that you can learn from. Voltaire's Candide uses the coward like behavior as an object of mockery. Candide, the main character of the novel travels the world where he encounters many problems just to return home to his love. During his journey there is only one man he preaches to, Pangloss, who believes that everything happens for the best. Pangloss's explanation of cause and effect is so ignorant at times it can be considered comical.
Thank you very much. It's great to be in a wonderful city -- New York. And it's an honor to have everybody here. (APPLAUSE) (CROWD: "Trump, Trump, Trump!") Our country is in serious trouble.
Every year illegal immigrants come into our country and with them they bring their children. Roughly a million children are brought here yearly as their parents seek better lives for their families. That’s where the United States struggles to enforce laws and kick them out because they’re young and most likely had no say in whether or not to enter our country. I sympathize for the kids no doubt, but the fact that they have entered the country illegally is unacceptable; for according to the rule of law, no person is above the law nor below it. According to the law, it is ILLEGAL to enter the United States without going through the process of naturalization.
Illegal immigrants evidently have had the ability to leach off of the American government, due to Obamacare. Illegal immigration is without a doubt one of the most attention needing problems the United States faces. The adversity devised from the jobs that illegal immigrants have apprehended from US citizens is formidable. President Trump has promised that he will reform the immigration laws and following his presidential campaign promise, building a large wall that separates Mexico and The United States. Building the wall reassures the population that we are indeed safe, we are a powerful country and there is no free ride in the land of hope and possibility.
Draining the rich of their money will not help those who are poverty stricken. It could cause the opposite of the intended effect (more equal income) and cause a greater amount of poverty and less chances to earn a living. A wealthy person is generally thought of making more than $300,000 a year and usually has stock, real estate, or both. In developed countries, such as the United States, “income inequality has increased since the 1980s” (Woo 5).

The author uses exaggeration and overstatements to achieve his goal of mocking the shoe soles and their release.
The course of conversion was beneficial to George W. Bush because he considered it as the only way possible to save his marriage and drift away from his drinking habit, his reaction was as follows: This saying shows his willingness to have a spiritual experience which can lead him to start his life over again. Certainly, George W. Bush’s personal story is seen as a support to many of his evangelical followers, seeing him as one of them who admits that his faith plays a role in his decision-making. According to Geoffrey, Layman and Hussey, much of the coverage of the George W. Bush’s relationship with the evangelicals’ constituency has seen it as special, planted in their shared spiritual experiences, they opined that:
National Lampoon's Animal House is a 1978 American comedy film directed by John Landis. This was a direct adaptation from the National Lampoon Magazine. The story is all about a group of fraternity members who challenge the Dean of Faber College.
Out of all the genre of writing, Satire is the one that speaks the most to people because it is humorous. Satire is making fun of some aspect of culture, society or human nature, human voice through the use of ridicule, mockery, irony, humor, or other methods to hopefully improve it or inspire some sort change. Satire often uses laughter as a weapon against something that exists outside the world itself. One of the most leading satire website that we have today is The Onion. One of the leading articles that the Onion had published is the best example of satire.
Using Satire to Convict Social Media Social media has inspired a stronger set of issues in the lives of the current youth, according to Shannon Purtle in “Why Social Media Should Be Left Alone”, specifically issues dealing with authenticity. In a time when social media is on the rise, Purtle addresses the lacking of real connections and endangerments surrounding magnified typical teenage issues caused by those programs within the lives of young Americans. As a teenager, or young adult, there is an immense amount of exposure to assimilation from one self-conscious teen to the next unsure teen. Through using satirical strategies such as an ironic tone, ridiculous and contradicting rhetoric, ironic questions and analogies to common phrases, Purtle
Satire reflects today’s society and democracy. Satire in modern day shows how people are constantly engaged in finding something or someone new, but don’t discover new things about themselves. Next, in television and radio broadcasts, parodies of the government, and of democracy occur. Society is searching for a person of importance to ridicule and criticize important issues, explaining why satire is present in everyday life. But, some satire is harming democracy, although famous people or things will continue to lampoon important occurrences until people stop enjoying it.
People want to get married because they are ready to take the relationship to a higher level of responsibility and commitment. The satirical argument made throughout the video is that one’s freedom is being compromised and ties, especially with the family are ruined once marriage gets in the picture. The video satirically highlights how individuals will not want to marry because of the huge commitments and responsibilities involved. This is ironic because, when it is decided that the goal of a relationship is marriage, it shows that the couple is ready to commit and love each other unconditionally.
Many people are strongly debating whether or not the rich should pay higher taxes. I believe it should be that the rich do pay higher taxes. When times in the economy are rough, the government needs to look consider at how they could bring in more money. Charging the wealthy higher taxes could be a strategy the government could use., and the wealthy people are the ones who could afford it.
