In most places, many love eating their favorite foods. The elimination of students' favorite foods in their school, causes the restlessness of student. They would question the healthy new lunch menu and start complaints about it with the cafeteria. Changing the menu would also cause less students to eat the new alternative lunch, cafeteria workers may lose their jobs, and causes the lessening of decision making. As most parents know, their children would pick their favorite foods over a healthy alternative. This does not happen only in people's homes, but also in the educational system. Following the "Cause and Effect" theory, the change of school lunch has a negative effect regarding cafeteria workers. It is their job to serve the students lunch for the whole of lunchtime. As less students buy lunch , the need of cafeteria workers diminishes. The school board will then have no choice but to remove them from their jobs. With the loss of their jobs, the workers will then have no choice but to look for another working environment. In some cases the loss of a job may cause the loss of a home. The workers may be forced to sell their homes or end up becoming homeless. Some may live with family members, but for those who have no choice, living on the streets would be the only option for them. The ability for people to make decisions makes up who they are. With bad decisions comes a bad consequence, but good decisions makes a better person. By eliminating students' favorite foods there is less room for decision making in the schools. The students would have no say in whether they want to have healthy foods or not. If students start packing their own lunch and not eating the cafeteria lunch then the school will be wasting food and possibly even money because the students don't want to eat it. Parents on the other hand might wonder why their child is coming home always hungry and it would be because the child doesn't like the new lunch menu at school. Then the school will have angry parents at their office desk yelling and complaining about the menu being changed because their child is going all day starving due to them not liking the food. Some of the students might blame it on the cafeteria workers when its not their fault at all, which could lead to the lunch lady's to quit their job or start complaining to. Students should not have their food changed to healthy because most of the students would not eat the food. Mostly 50 percent of school foods have fats in it, which makes the food unhealthy. So imagine if your school cafeteria plans to change to a new healthier school lunch menu, which would eliminate most of the students cafeteria foods, people think it is a bad idea already, because the food they are trying to serve is disgusting and also, because most of the foods they say are healthy, are not so healthy. Principals should not enforce to have school lunches changed. Why should we have healthy foods at school?
When the school had change the cafeteria menu to a healthier menu I was mad because the healthier food taste nasty ,and I barley ate which mean I was getting dizzy at practice because I didn't eat a lot in school. Schools shouldn't change the cafeteria menu because kids will bring their own lunch to school instead of buying it, some kids will protest on the change of the school menu, they will be very cranky if they don't eat and might pass out.
