Immigration: Bernie Sanders vs. Donald Trump
Immigration is a big issue when it comes to this year’s presidential election. One candidate wants to help legalize illegal immigrants. While another candidate thinks no good of them. Although some people do not like Bernie Sanders for president he is actually the best candidate, because his ideas intend to help the immigration situation.
My candidate, Bernie Sanders believes we should put a stop to the notion that the border must be secured before the legalization can happen. He has quoted that, “We are a nation of immigrants. I am the son of an immigrant myself. Their story, my story, our story is a story of America: hardworking families coming to the United States to create a brighter future for their children. The story of immigrants is the story of America, a story rooted in a family and fueled by hope. It continues today in families all across the united states.” Bernie Sanders thoughts on this are not false, but merely states the truth about our nation. He simply just wants everyone to have a better chance in life. By allowing immigrants legalization this could bring a brighter future to our country.
Meanwhile Bernie Sanders opposition is Donald Trump. Trump believes that there should be a

While Trump seems to think that all illegals are criminals and should all be deported back without giving them a chance to better their lives. Not all people are bad and those who deem well enough not to take advantage of our government should be given the chance to prove that they are willing to work for their place here. Unlike Trump, Bernie Sanders is willing to give them chance, and like Sanders stated “We are a nation of immigrants…” meaning there is no way to rid our country of immigrants. Everyone should be given a chance for a bigger and brighter future. Our country needs to move
And every immigrant, by embracing these ideals, makes our country more, not less, American.” (George W. Bush Inau) This showed that even though we all have different backgrounds, culture, and religions that does not make a difference in how American we are. We need everyone to come together to resolve our own conflicts. We must work together as one, we must use our differences to our advantage, we must learn from each other's differences, not let them divide us.
Many people seem to think that Bernie Sanders won’t be able to make America great again; however, he has been in public office for more than 30 years. He has seen some of the greatest down falls that America has been through. He knows his facts and he knows his country. Not anyone can really say that he doesn’t know what he is doing, because he surely does. Bernie wants every American that there is to stand together with him, so that he can fight for the support of free health care, free college tuition, and getting our middle class Americans out of
Abrajano, M. (2016, July 28). Will Immigration Spark a White Backlash in America? Retrieved March 19, 2018, from https://www.brookings.edu/research/will-immigration-spark-a- white-backlash-in-america/ Throughout this article the author, Marisa Abrajano, explains how immigration can potentially have an impact on American politics and how immigration can also change racial demographics. In my proposal I briefly mentioned how there have many historical figures who were immigrants who have impacted America as we know it, and by including information from this article, it could help support the idea that there could be more immigrants who can influence America.
Donald Trump and his issue with illegal Immigrants. After reading many articles discussing the situation between Donald Trump and the 11 million immigrants in America and trying to understand both sides of this issue, I strongly believe Trump and his insane idea will not be successful. Donald Trump is planning to deport all illegal Immigrants and their children from the United States if he becomes President. He is planning on taking away Birthright citizenship from millions of people who were born in the U.S. from Immigrant parents.
According to a study released last year by the Pew Hispanic Center, as of 2008, 11.9 million illegal immigrants lived in the United States, more than triple the 3.5 million who lived in the country in 1990 (Izumi). Immigration throughout the years has become a major issue in the U.S because of too many immigrants entering the country year after year. The U.S has come to a point whether they should deport the immigrants back to their country. Believe it or not, these immigrants are a big contribution to the U.S. If it wasn’t for them, the U.S economy wouldn’t be where it stands now.
Immigrants should be allowed to run for president because, the law was originally put in to protect the country from Dukes, this country was built off immigrants, and the founding fathers wanted this country to be equal and this statement of “natural born” is not equal. Firstly, America when it first Declared independence they were scared because they thought that British Dukes and Princes were going to buy there way into presidency. Now it is the 21st and we are allies with france and no one is rich
Immigrant Rights I Ramiro Pineda Jr. am here to speak for all immigrants, about Immigrant Rights, and the equality of all races. I believe The United States of America should accept any immigrants because, they only come to the U.S. For a better life. They should be forced to go through the process of becoming citizens and learn English. If they so happen to not want to be here anymore due to the process they have to do, they can decide to go back. Also U.S. Should be proud to accept these people they come here for a better life, education, and good occupations.
The Debate This year's election is a unique election that has gotten the eye from every kind of people. Out of the 2 presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Hillary could be a higher acceptable what being a president stands for. The explanations why Clinton should be president is as a result of her views on immigration, education, and women's rights. To start off Hillary’s views on immigration tend to vary, but slightly.
In his essay “My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant” (2011), Jose Antonio Vargas asserts that we should continue immigration reform, and discover a way to grant authorized citizenship for the population who remains here undocumented―and who contribute every day to society. Vargas, a journalist and immigration rights activist, is known for divulging his position as an undocumented immigrant in his essay “My Life as an Undocumented Immigrant”―in hopes of sparking effective changes to the immigration system in the United States. His argument is that the United States should gradually progress with the DREAM act, and to initiate a sensible and tenable path for the children who suffer from the similar situation. In my analysis of Vargas’s essay,
There are a lot of controversial issues surrounding this country. Whitin all those controversial issues there 's the “issue” of illegal immigration. I 'm sure we 're all familiar with the term “illegal immigration”. We’re always told about how bad it is. Don 't get me wrong, it is bad but it 's not done with the intention of hurting someone else but to try and change their future.
The immigration system in this country is broken. The process to enter this country legally is too lengthy and difficult, which is forcing large numbers of people to enter the country by illegal means. There are currently an estimated 11 million people in the USA that are undocumented. The vast majority of these people are hard working individuals that are trying to provide for their families. They came here to find better opportunities, or to escape war and conflict zones.
One of the candidates for the 2016 Presidential Election is Donald Trump. Trump is running as part of the Republican Party. He did however, think about running as an independent. (Donald Trump – 2016 Republican Presidential Candidates) Trump was a successful man in the Real Estate market.
By making the bold claim that he can make “real change” with his policies, Sanders shows the citizens of the United States that he is the most suitable candidate for presidency.
Immigration has always been a crucial topic in the United States government. Especially when it comes to giving amnesty and passing an immigration reform to 11 million immigrants, that live in the country. Many citizens believe that immigrants are detrimental to the well-being of the United States and do not agree with the passage of an immigration reform. One reason is that many believe immigrants take away the jobs of American citizens. Other reasons are that immigrants bring crime to the country and affect the economy.
The year of 2016 is almost here, way sooner than you think. There are many wonderful politicians running for president such as the clown Donald Trump. He is an intelligent person who never sounds stupid and is never, I repeat never taken as a joke. He is a very funny person and can never be taken serious, which is the greatest quality any president could ever have. Trump should become president because all immigrants will be deported and it won’t cost a lot of money, just a little over 300 billion dollars.
