More kids would go to college, also students would have more freedom to choose what they really wanted to do. College should be free for everyone for the kids with less money, it would help some actually go and be successful in life and they would have more freedom to choose what they want to do. When and if the college is paid for it might not seem as important to some kids, however I think more kids would be more involved if they didn't have to worry about money that's why I think that it is a good idea to pay for college. Knowing what we know, don't you believe that students shouldn't have to pay for college. If you still don't, rethink the reasons why they shouldn't have to pay. One, most kids can not afford it, many more kids would go to college and they would have more freedom to choose what they wanted to do. They should be working on this now, kids should not have to pay for college just to do something they don't want to because they cannot afford any other major. These reasons are why college should be for everyone who wants
college tuition should be paid for because, if the United States had more and more students going to college instead of going straight to jobs the economy would improve greatly. A vast majority of those who graduate from college would be getting higher paying jobs than if they hadn 't gone at all, which in the long run gives them more money to spend and therefore increases tax revenues. The increased tax revenues would enable the government to provide services to the constituents. Having more money go into the economy will help money go towards funding college however they would choose to deal with splitting the costs. This would also help small businesses because if they have more revenue coming in that can be used to grow their small business bigger.
Education is widely regarded as a key factor in the economic and social development of a country. With the extremely rapid development of the society, in order to enhance their competitiveness, increasing young people choose to accept higher education. Yet, there are different attitudes about whether students should pay or not. Some people regard education as a basic right, which should therefore be provided free, while others think the individual student should have to shoulder some of the costs of his or her education. According to Matt Bruenig’s Dissent article “The Case Against Free College: Free college is paid for by the working class people who don 't attend”, Bruenig against the free college because it seems more fair and benefit to
For those who have graduated from high school and will continue with their higher education, many if not all of these students will have to pay out of pocket for college. Most of students think that if they graduate from college or a four-year university they will have a chance to work in the professional field rather than work for minimum wage. It is an opportunity for anyone, particularly those who have low wages, to earn a degree and make more money. In the article “Expanding Community College Access” from The New York Times, President Obama states that tuition for community college should be free, because the American workforce is not educated enough for the global and national workplace. The presiding evidence and statements from experts
College is one of the most important and life changing times in the life of an American. Leaving high school behind and venturing out to the adult world is an amazing experience that every individual should experience. However, young adults from every corner of the country leave college with crippling debt or do not go to their preferred college of choice. College education should be cheaper as it will help families and students financially and give them the satisfaction with having the opportunity to go to their first choice for college.
It will encourage learners to concentrate on their studies, and encourage them to work harder in school. In result, a significant increase in student grades will rise. Therefore, the opportunity will create student, specifically low-income student to have more advantages. Firstly, college should be granted to students freely because it will encourage them to concentrate on their educations.
College Isn’t for Everyone "By telling all young people that they should go to college no matter what, we are actually doing some of them a disservice" (Owen). This quote from “Brookings Paper: Is College a Good Investment” goes into detail about how college isn’t for everyone. By educators, parents, and authority figures telling graduating high school seniors that college is necessary, they are limiting the potential of that student’s true skills. College isn’t right for everyone and not everyone wants to go to college.
But, with tuition prices spiking in the last decade, college is not a choice for most students graduating high school. Not going to college is an opportunity missed within itself but colleges that vacuum all your life savings in one year also take away the opportunities of getting a great education, stable lifestyle, and job. Post-high school education is becoming harder and harder to reach and without the governments help there is really nothing we can do about it. School funds need to increase from the government so that the students of America can take the opportunity of going to a well-priced
As the school year comes to a close and the only thing on a senior’s mind is how are they going to pay for college? Throughout our high school careers we always get asked what our plans are after high school and never how are you going to pay for that next step of your life after high school. We barely get prepared for the real world in high school we are forced to take classes the school thinks will be good for us not what we think or what will be best for what we want to study for in college. How are high schoolers supposed to be able to pay for college when they don’t get prepared enough in high school to go on to that next level of schooling and have to more than likely go into debt just to be able to pay for it. Colleges should no longer cost an insane amount of money to go there.
Without the years of hard work, going to college would not be a significant matter. If college was free, gaining a college degree would be almost equivalent to a high school degree as almost anyone would be able to obtain
In today society, people are easily looked by their college degree level and they can be judged by their degree. But not everybody can afford to go to college in order to get a degree. People have different reasons of not going to college but most of the reasons are because of the tuition. Tuition are too high and they can not afford it. If the free college situation does not make a great effect on the economy, I believe that college should be free because free college can encourage more students to go to college, earn a degree and can decide on their future without the worry of paying debt and contributing to create a better society with their knowledges.
By making tuition cheaper, it would increase the amount of people that could attend colleges, because of the affordability. I believe that reduced costs of college tuition would help America become a more intelligent country. Many countries around the world have made college
College should be free in the United States for multiple reasons. These reasons include, but are not limited to, the following. College is too expensive for the majority of the population of the United States. If college was free, it would let people explore their horizon, and have an easier time finding a desirable career. College has been proven to be effective, and even shown to have been working in the united states for over 100 years.
By attending college, higher job opportunities will be available for much more people. With a higher educational background, the average income of an American will grow, which permits people to be able to afford the higher prices of taxes. Overall, America should allow free four-year colleges and universities available to all citizens. The overall positive impact that free college can have on our country- such as lower debt and lesser unemployed and homeless- will allow for the United States economy to be more stable and allow for its citizens to greatly benefit
They could show their talents to the world plus they can live the life that they want. With college education being free they could make other people happy for them, and be happy for themselves. An article says that, “ People would have more freedom to contribute their talents, try new ideas, and pursue the lives they want if they didn 't have to start off in debt or stay stuck in a low-wage job. That could lead to happier people. Also, happier people could lead to a happier, more prosperous nation as a whole.
All we need is people that believe that getting a better education is better for you in long run that’s the only way education is key. If we had more big companies putting more money into the schools people can start lowering the tuition this is starting plan if we start having way more funding into the schools though the government we would have a lot more kids trying to get into college. I read a survey on online in seen that some kids in college had a debate on this topic one kid that free college means high school all over again meaning many people would take college for granted if it was free because the way they act in high school saying they won 't be able to go to college because they act bad in high school. the student said college is for people who really do care about their
