The Montagues made the statue of Juliet as a peace offer to the Capulets. When the statue is revealed there was red writing going across Juliet’s stomach that said harlot. The Capulets did not like their daughter being called harlot so the Capulets picked a fight with the Montagues. The Capulets thought the Montagues was being shady and petty to their dead daughter.

Both of these stories show love between 2 parties, and can be compared in many ways. I have found multiple similarities which include, Romeo and Juliet meeting and falling in love at a party, them wanting to get married, and the famous balcony scene, and I will be comparing them with Love Story in this essay.
The movie Moana directed by Ron Clements and John musker is about a Polynesian teenage girl named Moana voiced by Auli’l cravalho. In the movie, she tries to save her island from an evil plague that is killing her islands trees, ocean, beach, and resources. On her voyage to saving her island, she encounters a villain who is the reason her island is being destroyed by the plague his name is Maui voiced by Dwayne Johnson. Together they set out to defeat an even greater cause and save the island.
