In 1957, Southern Illinois University (SIU) open its two campus in Alton and East St. Louis, Il. It was not until 1963 that groundbreaking steps were being made in 2,660 acres of land to establish what is now known as, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUe.) In 1965, SIUe campus opened Peck Classroom Building and Lovejoy Library. SIUe is located in the metropolitan 25 minutes East of St. Louis, MO. Is it really necessary for the Navajo Technical University to take out an athletic fee of $50 for students that do not use the Gym or join in any sports activities? That extra $50 dollars that could be put in the students pocket and use to a much better advantage. They could also use it for gas to travel from their home to campus or use it for the Navajo Nation transit bus. They could also use it for food when they don’t have anything to eats. The school already takes out fees for library, technical fees, and activity fees.
As a marketing director, I would like to explore the possibility of this marketing proposal. It involves the expansion of the community college. People would be able to take the advantage of receiving a college education so they can pursue their future endeavors. Upgrading the campus would help serve the community and provide functional buildings for students who cannot afford to go to a four-year university. It has been expected that many students would go to a community college because it is cheaper.

Junior is a well-rounded student, he is book smart and he also has talents in drawing and writing and sports. Junior also has positive adult role models who to believe in him, his talents, and his dreams and have high expectations for him. However, not all adolescents on the rez are fortunate enough to have these role models, and lack of structure and resources makes success and positive development difficult, even with several protective factors in place.
