Due to mission, tempo, and troops available, brigades and lower echelons will often pass requirements to conduct minimum-essential stability operations tasks to division during the offense. To meet these stability operations tasks, division can establish a CATF to support rear operations. brigades can help set conditions for the CATF as a follow-on force, by accomplishing division’s established transition requirements.
