The television show chosen to detect various personality types is the current twelve season phenomenon known as Supernatural. Beginning the analyzation with the show’s backstory/main storyline; two brothers are raised by their father, who eventually ends up teaching them how to hunt and obliterate the supernatural. This explains the first portion of Horney’s theory, now on to the second. As he continued to grow up, he started to fight alongside his brother in attempts to become as decent a hunter as his father was before he passed, slain by a demon as well. So, as he continued to overcome his personal and public obstacles, he began to feel a vague loneliness. All the trips he would go on would leave him foraging for a lasting love he would be able to keep and finally be at peace with, but throughout his life he would just have to cut them all of so as not to have them mixed up in the dangerous journey he was born …show more content…
However, even though he also embodies the personality that Alfred Adler holds to be true, it seems that Horney’s thoughts are most evident in his actions and dealing with the past he has. “Witches Brew” by David Casper In Act IV, the three witches played a major role in providing important prophecies concerning Macbeth. The song “Witches Brew” illustrates the wickedness of the Weird Sisters. When creating their potion, the witches add ingredients, such as an “eye of newt” and a “toe of frog” (Shakespeare 4.1.14), that are often associated with evil and nasty creatures. The Weird Sisters use this concoction to reveal Macbeth’s apparitions, a dark premonition depicting his downfall.

“Texas Forever” is a mantra which Tim Riggins, the main character in the television series, Friday Night Lights, lives by. This show is about an entire town obsessed with football and something they base their dreams upon. However, these dreams do not come without compromise. We can identify ourselves and others with the most the characters in Friday Night Lights, and are pulled immediately into their lives since their situations makes them feel like genuine individuals. In this paper, I will argue that Friday Night Lights demonstrates the metaphysical theory of the basic question: “Ultimately, what is there?”

John Wesley Dean III was a part of the original meeting with Macgruder, Mitchell, and Liddy. Initially during the hearings, Dean claimed that no one else in White House was involved. Later he pleaded guilty and revealed that Nixon was aware of the scandal and even kept an “enemies list. ” We will explore whether Dean’s motivations were driven by a desire for honesty, or if he stood to gain something by proving Nixon’s guilt. Haldeman attempted to use Dean as a scapegoat to distract from the White House’s involvement, but to no avail.
31 year old, Samuel Winchester, also known as “Sam” or “Sammy” is the youngest of two siblings, himself and his big brother, Dean. His family can be said to be broken, this is because, at a young age his mother (Mary) was brutally murdered, and his father (John) raised both, Dean and himself to be hunters, not just any hunter, but one who hunts the unseen. As a toddler, Sam was left motherless, due to an unexplainable and thought to be an “accidental” fire. This is where the Winchesters first family separation took place.
At first he was eager and scared to find his dad. On page 7 it states “I've never met him,but I have a pretty good feeling that this must be my father”. The detail supports that he want to find his dad because he is eager to to have a family to care about him. The author said on page 21 it saids “ The only thing I could hear was my own breath”. This shows that he was scared because he was out of breath.

“The Minister’s Black Veil:” Emotional Supernatural Mystery of the veil There are a couple different meanings of romanticism. " Movement in the arts and literature that originated in the late 18th century, emphasizing inspiration, subjectivity and the primacy of the individual" is the definition of the romanticism in literature. The Minister's Black Veil has characteristics that are unique to the Romantic period, particularly those which are directly connected with Gothic literature. Romanticism was said to be “the search for a world that is not”. Nathaniel Hawthorne expressed romanticism in the allegory “The Minister’s Black Veil” by using emotion, the supernatural and mystery.
Dean Winchester from “Supernatural” dedeicates his life to protecting his brother, Sammy, whom doesn’t understand Dean’s morals. Throughtout the show you will begin to recognize in numerous scenes that Dean’s main weakness is his family. Recently, I read the book “Divergent” by Veronica Roth. It is a dystopian fiction novel based in futuristic Chicago, where the entire town is divided into five factions: Candor, the bluntly honest; Erudite, the intellectuals; Abnegation, the over-humble, meek, and selfless, always putting others before themselves; Amity, the kind and willing servants to others; and Dauntless, the daredevils, the risk-takers, the fighters and defenders. If a person has more of an aptitude for, or fits better into, more than one faction, as does the main character, he or she is referred to as “Divergent”—hence the title. I have always had an avid interest in personalities and characteristics, so I became slightly obsessed with Myers-Briggs and the introversion-extroversion
