I am currently employed as a substitute teacher for the Richland School District, located in Shafter, CA. I have been a substitute teacher for about six months and it has been a great experience which is one reason why I want to continue my career and get my teaching credentials.
I am interested in becoming a Physical Education teacher so I can make a difference in children’s lives. I am choosing to pursue teaching as a profession because I know I can leave a positive impact on children. Being around sports and physical fitness has given me the motivation and knowledge to teach children the importance of maintaining active and healthy. I know that becoming a teacher will be a great responsibility, but I believe I have the right attitude, skills,

I am thankful to have a great support system. My family encouraged me to apply to this graduate school so I can further my education. Graduating from college has taught me how to balance school, family, and work. My plans on how to have a successful outcome when being in the graduate program is by having strategies. I know that doing my graduate program online will be difficult because procrastination is well-known to many of us so I plan on having set schedules on when to do school work and eliminating distractions. Another strategy that I plan on doing is asking for help from my support system. Whether it be my family members, colleagues, or professors, I have learned that it is OK to ask for help when needed. Time management is an important strategy I do plan on implementing with work, school, hobbies, and family. Lastly, self-care is an important factor to be successful in graduate school. I want to continue to take care of my physical and mental health by exercising regularly and getting enough sleep while keeping up with my schoolwork. I know that at times my strategies will not go as I plan them to go but I know that with my support system and the effort I put into my schooling, I will succeed. I believe that every child deserves to have access to quality education. Getting to know each student is a great way to promote an inclusive environment and get to know their cultural backgrounds. Having a safe and welcoming environment will play an important role that I will implement when I have my classroom. Along with making sure that all students are participating, working together, and having different learning methods that will help promote an inclusive environment. An inclusive environment is very important for a child to have a successful
It has been a challenge for me to create a classroom environment that creates an inclusive and integrated classroom that allows students to grow and learn at their own level and pace
Creating an inclusive environment will benefit students in many ways. Being in an inclusive classroom myself, allowed me to feel more comfortable learning and asking questions as it felt as a safe space for everyone to learn with no judgment. I believe that every ELL student should have the privilege of seeing their classroom and educators as a safe space for making mistakes, overcoming obstacles, and learning from
A child’s education is affected by various elements such as gender, race, environment, economic factors, privilege, and more. These elements shape the outcome of a student’s educational experience and learning. They also determine what and how students will learn. In order to create an appropriate learning environment, there should be a sense of community. In other words, the common goal should be helping students succeed and reach their maximum potential.
I am currently teaching at Swainston Middle School in North Las Vegas. Our student population is very diverse, including English Language Learners (ELLs). During this time as a teacher, I have served students with different language needs. It has been my goal to engage ELL students in my lessons as every other student. It is my opinion that as teachers we are all language teachers.
If a child cannot learn the way I teach then I will teach the way the child learns. My aim is not to be a sage on the stage but a guide by the side. Involving inclusive pedagogy in my personal education will allow me to achieve my goals. I impart knowledge, I guide learning, I channel ideas, I create opportunities, I impact lives, I TEACH!
I have always been a very caring person, so deciding to be a teacher came naturally, having an extreme level of patience, and an attention to students needs I believe my skill set will best be used teaching Special Education. I have been in Teaching Academy for 3 years, where I have worked with special education students and fell in love with them teaching. If later in life I chose to pursue teaching a different subject I would hope to still have a connection with students and help those especially who get as discouraged as I do in school.if anything is to come from my mistakes at school I hope it's to encourage others not to make the same. Being a teacher is a goal I have set for myself, I know it will not be easy and it will not always be rewarding but if I can help at least one student I will be able to die satisfied I ask again who is Cecilia Gallegos?
Teaching is important to me because I feel that every child should have a place where they feel cared for and believed in. Since school is where most children spend the majority of their day, being a teacher is a perfect career to provide this safe place for them. I have had a passion for working with kids since my childhood and every year, that deepens as I watch more and more kids grow emotionally, as well as academically. I want to help students reach their potential in every aspect of their life while fostering their love of learning. With these motivations to become an educator, I have found myself resonating most with the Humanistic learning theory.
Reflecting on my educational and practical experiences, I appreciate the infinite influence that teachers have on children. I realise that children will take the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom and use it throughout their lives. I know a teacher has to deal with many daily pressures and challenges, in the classroom. However, I feel I require the skills needed to deal with these challenges. As a teacher I hope not only to be an educator but a positive role model, whom the children can look up to and trust.
When I first started teaching, it was exciting. I loved education and working with young people. I was very idealistic and as corny as it may sound, I thought in my own way I was changing the world. Through the years, my initial excitement turned to stress and anxiety.
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
Be reasonable is always a key to improvement, once you understand that this is your first year and things aren't going to be perfect it will put you in the mind set and cause less stress upon on you as a teacher. We are not perfect and we don't live in perfect world and there is always room for improvement. Reflect is a great way to sit and think about how you can become a better teacher a better you and different ways you can try and help the kids understand and know the many ways to learn. We are in the classroom for students and that's why teachers are important as you never want to be the teacher who doesn't know what she is doing. Organize Your life is a very important key .
1. I want to become a teacher because I wish my teaching with my students to learn about special education in schools. The school is getting a good education about students with teacher need to teach a focus on development. It's was my experience before to go training for observing in elementary school for pre-kindergarten is a classroom and teacher has three different way. 2.
If you are in a good mood and have fun teaching then so will your students. I also want to pursue a teaching career because I want kids to know that they can become anything they want to be. Any child is capable of doing whatever he/she wants; however, they need a boost
Teaching is full of challenges, frustrations, and responsibilities but is also filled with huge rewards. I believe that all students are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation and direction from their teachers. I believe that teachers need to be aware of educational learning theories, motivation, behaviour, and student development in order to relate to their students and push them to reach their full potential. Teaching should be viewed as an evolving and ongoing practice with implications that continual professional development is an essential element of the teaching practice. Learning is through activity with participation, collaboration and interaction with others in a well organised practice, where social guidance aids student’s learning.
I believe that to become a successful teacher you must possess a certain skill that allows you to communicate with young children. To me, it is a crucial profession and ultimatley the upmost greatest and rewarding. Those within the education system have a great responsibility as educators for the future children of this world.
