The time of the murder occurred in the early hours of midnight to dawn, leading to the victims being in bed at the time. The pillows were soaked and walls were sprayed with the blood of the victims, “the force of the hammer-like weapon struck against the victim’s head was violent, thus blood spraying on the walls of the bedroom” (Tedeschi, 2015). A forensic analysis was taken of the carpet and electrical switches of the Lin house including bone fragments found on the sheets of the bed and a sample of blood, “further evidence will determine if Mr Xie was responsible for the

He went to the corpse and slowly removed the head. The bone brought trouble, but he broke the bone, he jerked the head in the same motion you do to kill a chicken or a bird.

George Weeks, the Smiths farmhand, was reporting for work the monday after the murder and heard the dog barking from the work-shed by the Smiths house. George Weeks then became suspicious since the dog was usually inside with Mr. Smith. George then looked in the house and saw that the east room window was broken and Mr. and Mrs. Smith were lying on the floor covered in blood.
The story of Charles Foster Kane has been played out many times in several movies, books, and even in real life. There is a man with nothing, who gains everything due to his conniving manner as well as backbiting tendencies. Being narcissistic and boorish are also common themes among such characters. They become corrupt due to the power they have. In the end, they are left with nothing.
In this single frame taken from one of the greatest films the life and struggles of Kane as the mise-en-scene dwarf Kane, while the lighting leaves him in the shadows of the almighty Mr. Thatcher who is seen,

The victim had no shirt or pants on, and there was a slice on the back of his neck and the back of his left leg. Powell successfully entered Seward’s home, knocked out his son, broke into Seward’s bedroom, shoving aside his wife, and stabbed him wildly in the dark. Seward was severely injured from a fall out of his carriage, and a splint he wore for his broken jaw is all that protected his throat from the knife. Powell then ran out into the night. Seward did not die. Booth is the only man of the plot who succeeded.
(Connell 16). Rainsford and Kane both faced internal conflicts about how they are going to survive. They can either run away, die like cowards, or they can stay and try to survive against their problems. Kane does not deserve to be alone in his fight against the antagonist, Frank Miller, because he has helped his town so much, but no one shows gratitude by volunteering as a depute. In this film a character named Baker states “I don’t believe it!
Kane turned the Daily Inquirer Into a successful business and eventually hired the staff from the New York Chronicle. The movie overlaps the interviews to tell the life story of Kane while the flashbacks are doing the storytelling. Citizen Kane (Welles, 1941) challenged traditional narrative and technical elements of classic Hollywood cinema through techniques in cinematography, mise-en-scene and lighting. The mise-en-scene build of Citizen Kane is the pivoting point of the narrative forthcoming and Welles uses every technical element encompassed in this build to span his narrative across 60 years of Charles Foster Kane, the main character 's life. The beginning of this build is founded on the black and white shooting choice which sets an ominous almost 'film noir ' lighting and feel of the opening scene of the castle in Xanadu. This where we see end of Kane 's life, but every aspect of the film 's narrative will revolve around these frames and including the questions of 'who has died '?, 'what was the significance of the snow globe? ', and 'Who is rosebud? '. The camera angle in the deathbed scene is deliberately shot from a low angle, which further implies the importance of the person lying in the bed as well as providing mystery as the viewer is not yet privy to whom has just
Mr. Kane is arguing to Mr. Thatcher that he is going to lose 60 million dollars over the next 60 years, but does not express much concern. Kane is very sarcastic in his approach and has a small smirk on his face during the shot. The lighting is from the bottom, but very low light. Deep focus is also used in this scene, even though we are very close to Kane’s face we can still see Thatcher’s head. From this shot, I suggest that Kane is trying to tell Thatcher that he does not care about losing money and that he is going to do whatever he wants to do.
