Each of the main characters must be brave and overcome their fears to help save Hera. Jason must overcome the fear of losing his friends, by allowing his friends to fight for him, instead of him always trying to protect his friends by putting himself before them. Leo must face his childhood fear and use his pyrokinesis to help break the cage that Hera is trapped in. He is scared because he thinks that by using his pyrokinesis he will kill his friends. Piper must be brave and tell her friends that the giant, Enceladus, has her dad trapped, even though he said he will kill her dad if she told her friends. In “The Wednesday Wars”, the main character, Holling Hoodhood, seems to form opinions about people pretty quickly, especially Mrs.Baker, Holling’s new 7th teacher. This leads you to having the same opinion about certain characters in the book. However, you should never judge people based on first impressions. The world contains many people, you never do know who they really are and what they are capable of until you them.

Marcus, a main character in the book Little Brother, was near the bay bridge in San Francisco when it was blown up by terrorists. He was blamed for it by the DHS (Department of Homeland Security). Due to the bombing, the city was put under heavy watch by the DHS and everyone was treated as a potential terrorist, especially Marcus. Throughout the book, Marcus fought against the DHS for the rights to privacy of himself and the civilians of San Francisco.
In life no matter what you do in life there will always be consequences to your actions. In “Heart of a Champions” by Carl Deuker, Seth and Jimmy the main characters go through some things in the book. When Jimmy starts hanging out with his “Cool friends” he starts changing for the worse but later in the book his actions have consequences. I have read the chapters 1-27 in the book Insurgent, in the beginning Tris and Tobias were on their way away from the city and away from the erudite, who were taking control. After they find out that the erudite are searching for them, they decide to take a train back to the center of the city and stay in the warehouse with a bunch of other divergent.

A hero is someone who stands up for what he or she believes in, and confronts the evils that the person may face, no matter how big or small those evils may be. The setting takes place in present time in a small town called Long Thorpe but mostly in a cellar. A community where nothing bad really takes place, until young Summer is alone is taken. She is brought to a different aspect of a new yet drastic life of thriller.
