Both of these authors wrote science fiction for the most part. They both really liked to write with a very imaginative style. In this they both created story with a lot of personification and out of this world personalities. Both of their writing were very suspenseful in: “There Will Come Soft Rains” and “The Tell Tale Heart”. Both of these stories in some way end off pretty sad or scary in a way and have a very suspenseful spot or a large peak in a story. And both of these authors wrote very successful poems. Poe started getting into horror further into his carrier. In many ways Poe’s writing was different from Ray’s. Almost all of Poe’s writing was horror and suspense. One of his major stories is: “The Raven” this story is considered a great American literary work. Poe started to write about death and loss and was very successful with his new theme and style. Some of the most successful stories are: “The Tell Tale Heart,” “The Cask of Amontillado,” “The Pit and the Pendulum,” “The Masque of the Red Death,” and “The Fall of the House of Usher.” These stories show how talented Poe was when his stories focused on horror. …show more content…

His fantasy books like the “Martian Chronicles” and “Fahrenheit 451” were his most famous fantasy books. He had a very strong dislike for technology and how it is ruining the earth.
