Who here has ever been to dunkin doughnuts? Who has here been to Tim Hortons? Tim hortons is a Canadian multinational fast food restaurant known for its coffee and doughnuts. Tim Hortons was a hockey legend in the 1964, who opened his first coffee and doughnuts store in Hamilton, Ontario and created a trend that has led to a million-dollar franchise. In my speech, I will be discussing the importance of opening more Tim Hortons branches in the United States of America. As well as the benefits of having a branch and working for one in the future. Did you know that, “Despite competition from American interlopers (also known as competition), According to Furdyk who is a (ie. Author), he states that Tim Hortons remains at the top of Canada’s fast food chain, outselling every other fast food restaurant- inlcuding McDonalds”. It shows that Tim Hortons is doing all the right things because it is beating top ranked fast food restaurants. Tim Hortons is one of the top successful franchises in the world that provides many different compensations, has corporate social responsibility, and provides a worldwide network for individuals. Tim Hortons provides many different compensations that would attract potential employees. Depending on your position in the franchise, the salary starts from $35,000 and would go up depending on performance. To add on, there are different bonusses and benefits that makes individuals strive for. For instance, in the job role of a general manger, there is a possibility to receive on average $12,000 on top(source). On the other hand, a few of the benefits for employees include, free meals and for some individual’s life insurance/disabilities. Also, since Tim Hortons is a Canadian franchise, the pay would be higher due to the exchange rate.
