In the satirical novel Animal Farm by George Orwell the author retells the prior and post events that occurred during the Russian Revolution through a rebellious farm in England called Manor Farm. On this farm, the animals were mistreated and decide to overthrow the humans. Old Major, a respected pig and wisest on the farm, had proposed the idea of a government of their own which began as an equalitarian government, but once a young boar by the name of Napoleon seized power, the principles of communism and totalitarianism were added to the regime.
