WestJet is a Canadian airline carrier based in Calgary, Alberta. It was founded in 1996 by Clive Beddoe and a group of entrepreneurs who had a vision that people who pay for cheaper plane tickets should still receive excellent customer service. Starting off with just three Boewing 737 Next-Generation aircrafts, five airport terminals, and 220 welcoming WestJet workers, WestJet is now one of the largest airline carriers in Canada. Today, this airline carrier has over 75 terminals across North America.
