The Progressive Era of the United States was a period from around 1900-1917 of social activism and political reform focusing on creating a more democratic government aiming toward a better society. Issues involving work safety laws, increased civil rights for women, public health, and municipal reform. But looking deeper into it, there are some questions to be answered such as, what was National Progressivism between 1901 and 1917? Also what roles were played by Presidents Roosevelt, Tat, and Wilson? Roosevelt’s role in the Progressive Era seems to mainly focus on railroad regulation, “He now saw corporate regulation as more effective than trust-busting, and this shift underlay the 1906 Hepburn Act. This law empowered the Interstate Commerce Commission to set maximum railroad rates and to examine railroads’ financial records.” (Boyer 2013). What President Roosevelt may be most famous for, was his role in nature conservation and the establishment of wildlife preserves and refuges. In the twentieth century, the United States political reflected a growing of the idea of the Progressive movement. This fundamental of this movement was the government served people better and the economic reforms. In addition, gained in popularity under two presidents; Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. Both of them have different approached in progressive reform. Teddy Roosevelt believed that the federal government should be an active manager for reforms.
Theodore Roosevelt made the world think about running out of resources. Most things such as wood, metal, and gas aren’t renewable. So he made laws to preserve the natural life. This was a safety measure to save the resources. And this affected the common man.
His movement to bring back the great, prosperous US, was called the New Deal, which was experimental projects that were going to try and help change the crisis. President Roosevelt passed the Roosevelt emergency banking act, which stopped american’s from pulling out their savings from the bank, and a couple of days later he urged the American people to put back their money back into the bank. After a couple days since his act was passed, three quarter of the banks had reopened. Roosevelt was just starting the movement to turn around the crisis. He passed many other acts such as Agricultural Adjustment Act, the Tennessee Valley Authority Act, and the National Industrial Recovery Act.

Also, Theodore’s support of the creation of the National Park Service helped to preserve the nation's wilderness areas and natural resources. The second major pro of Roosevelt's presidency was his aggressive foreign policy.

They should earn the same wages as the me have. Once people starting noticing that and started realizing that women are not that much different and that there still human being too
