Dr.Martin Luther King was a very important person in history, he is one of the main reasons segregation was eliminated. With being both a Baptist minister and a civil rights activist he stayed busy. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929. Most people recognize him from his “I have a dream” speech. Family, church, and education shaped his life and made him who he was. King was name from a 16th century german church. Growing up he lived with his parents, who had a very big impact on his life. Education is the key to success according to KIng.
