There are a number of reasons as to why some people attend college such as, being forced by parents, the need to be away from parents in order to get to get the opportunity to socialize and attend parties, and others because their peers are doing so. All these are not credible reasons as to why one should attend college. At the end of the four years of college, what really matters is getting knowledge out of it and being able to apply it. College fees keep increasing from year to year and some people who cannot afford it take loans or overwork themselves in order to be able to pay it. This is not worth it especially if the student is not doing well academically. It is best for a student to find out their potential first before deciding to join
