WW2 begins World War 2 was the cause of the Nazi Party taking control of the German government. Before the second war began Germany was facing a Great Depression due to being stuck with the war debt for the first war. With the help of Adolf Hitler, leader of the Nazi political party, Germany began to rise as a national power in the 1930’s. His idea was to unite all of the Germans under one Germany and to become superior to any other nation or ethnic group. Hitler began to take over parts of Europe leading Britain and France to later on declare war.

USA reasons for remaining neutral FDR had chosen to remain neutral because they were just coming out of the Great Depression. The country was also not producing tanks or many military weapons
