Pesticide is definitely needed to help control insects in order for farmers to produce an adequate supply of produces. Without the pesticide many many crops would be destroyed; therefore, putting a great strain on supply and demand. The farmers and their helpers are not capable of handling a pest infestation without the use of a pesticide. By using pesticides, a farmer can treat large areas in a timely manner.
