The U.S. Army was founded on June 14, 1775. The U.S Army is the land service branch of the United States Armed Forces and it is one of the eight U.S. uniformed services. The Army is “a powerful fighting force defending and serving our nation by land, sea, and air.” The Army’s main objective is to preserve the peace, security and defense of the United States. The best way they do that is by organizing, training, and equipping active duty and reserved forces. Earl Carter created the recruiting slogan “All that you can be '' for the Army in the 1980s. The Army brought the slogan back because they are trying to boost recruitment. The ad is for people who are interested in joining the U.S Army. The ad conveys

Army shows limitless possibilities. The U.S. Army has limitless possibilities because there are so many different jobs. In the Army, there is no limit to what you can be. “The Army has the STEM program which is: (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and offers jobs that will put your analytical and technical abilities to the test.” So many experiences and skills can be learned in the Army. The Army embodies honor, leadership, and courage which are great American characteristics that represent respect.
One key factor in the Army is respect. The soldiers in the Army want to get treated with respect and dignity. Respect is what allows us to value the best in other people. Self-respect is a vital component which results in putting forth your best effort in everything that you do. Respect allows us to realize we are a part of a greater mission which is defending America's freedom.
Another key factor in the Army is service. The Army is “a powerful force who defends and serves our nation by land, sea, and air.” Service is doing your duty loyally without any recognition and gain. Service is performing a role or function. The Army serves the country and an organization. Serving is submitting oneself with humility, respect, and
