From the knowledge that I have obtained The American Revolution was indeed very revolutionary, from my understanding it made its history between the years of 1765 and 1783. It was what modernized the United States into becoming a much more rather better nation, not only did it modernize the nation but it inspired many people to educate and make better their societies. The American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies won their independence from Great Britain, becoming the United States of America. This war was between the Kingdom of Great Britain and thirteen British colonies on the North American continent. Tensions between residents of Great Britain’s 13 North American colonies and the colonial government are what rumbled this conflict. For …show more content…
Going back to the Colonial Era we could see that only the very rich and high leveled people were able to be held accountable in the participation of voting, but this all began when the Revolution began to strike. Keep in mind that wealthy land owners, large planters, wealthy lawyers, where the only people who could be a part of the political life. It all changed when the revolution struck because it gave merchants and unprofitable land owners the ability to begin voting again. This was huge for these people starting with the fact that they gained a factor they had at one point lost, since voting is like your only voice in the political world and slaves at this time were also having a change in their mindset. Not only did the revolution give people opportunities but it opened up a new type of world for some people. The lower-class actually had a voice for once in the political society, and women had the ability to speak up and demand that they get equal rights. If the war didn’t happen not much people would have had the hope to speak up to what they believed in, most voices wouldn’t have been heard and we probably would not have the lower class voting or such a
The American Revolution was one of the most important events in the history of the United States. The American Revolution allowed the U.S. to separate from Great Britain and gain independence. The American Revolution was full of many bloody long battles that were fought long and hard by both The American Colonists and the British. The first Revolutionary War began in 1775. The Colonists had many weaknesses during these many wars yet they still managed to beat the British in many wars.
The American Revolution was a war fought by American colonies to gain independence from the British control. The American Revolution was caused by a series of events. It all started with the French and Indian War in 1754. At the end of the war, King George III issued the proclamation of 1763 which prohibited colonists to settle beyond the Appalachian Mountains, many colonists took great offense at this order. The war between Britain and France caused Britain to be deeply in debt and demanded tax from the colonies.
The American Revolution was a time period where there were 13 colonies in America exploring more of the land everyday, The british shared the land with people who are called the pilgrims and ended up soon turning into Patriots and after that Americans. Great Britain started abusing their colonists while there were shootings and many taxes of colonists, many were unfair, and this led to the revolution. This war was between The Patriot/Americans against the British/Loyalists. The revolution happened because a few major events in history took place in Boston others will say it as British Territory.
The American Revolution was a war that changed the course of American History forever. It was the rebellion of thirteen North American colonies of Great Britain who declared themselves independent in 1776 as the United States of America. They secured awareness from overseas countries in Europe, and established alliances with France, Spain, and the Netherlands. Eventually, the American coalition defeated the British forces, and established themselves as a world power for many years to come. However, many factors led to Britain losing the American Revolution.
In that case, the American Revolution was very revolutionary because there were political, social, and economic changes. Wealthy people lost their money, there was a new government, it made citizens question slavery, and certainly more freedom for the Americans. The American Revolution resulted in the establishment of an independent nation; British colonists became American citizens. That was a vast change in U.S history.
The American Revolution, which lasted from 1775 to 1783, began with tension, anger, and restriction. However, the outcome led to a free country known as the United States of America. The American Revolution has many effects on today’s modern country, including the Declaration of Independence and the abolition of slavery. The Declaration of Independence was fought persistently, and it had a great outcome on American colonies.
The term “Revolutionary” is an instantaneous change or shift that promotes equal rights, liberty, and freedom. So, while some may argue that the revolution was a turning point for America, The American revolution in this case is not revolutionary since slavery was still present, minority groups did not gain rights, and British ideals and tactics were still being used in the new government. One of the crucial pieces of evidence that this “revolution” could not be considered revolutionary is because of the slavery still taking place even after the war ended. Throughout the revolt against British rule in the 16th century, the American people fought under the banner of truth, justice, and liberty for all people, However, the only people that indeed
Towards the end of the war women got a slight improvement in legal rights but no improvement in political rights. It also abolished slavery but it did not last and France wouldn’t permanently get right of
“Better to die fighting for freedom then be a prisoner all the days of your life.” (Bob Marley). The Russians were being abused by their government. France was in an absolute monarchy, with corrupt leadership, and unfair land distribution.
I believe that the American Revolution was revolutionary because there were many events, impacts, and effects after the war was over. When something is “Revolutionary” it means that it causes a dramatic or drastic change. In 1776, the Declaration of Independence was written all because the people needed to be heard, from document 2. What if the King listened, would there still have been a war? I do not believe so because so much time was spent trying to get the people
Under Louis XVI France has depleted most of its finances, and is in debt because of France’s financial and military support of America during the American revolution. This has led to famine and civil unrest, while also giving birth to the revolutionary idea of nationalism during the French revolution. Radical leaders such as Robespierre used the idea of nationalism to motivate people into joining revolution in order to create the French republic. However, the true leaders of the revolution were the people, as they were the ones who stole the gunpowder from the Bastille and stormed Versai, while the leaders were just the ‘head of the snake’ that told people what to do in order for them to get what they want. Furthermore, nationalism did not spark the revolution, but rather fuelled
Dissemble During night time, dogs lurked the streets. Massive paws slapped the pavement as they wandered through the darkness, pulling at their chain restraints. Muzzles covered their muscular heads. Their leaders walked beside them, holding heavy, thick chains that seized hold of the terrifying beasts.
During the 1700s America and it’s 13 colonies made a bold decision to revolt from Great Britain and become their own independent nation. This started a revolution that would forever change the way Americans would live. The War of Independence or better known as the American Revolution, consisted of the 13 colonies of America trying to gain independence from Great Britain and on July 4th 1776, America finally decided to declare their independence. Many say the revolution paved the way for many other great changes to take place, while others believed not a lot was impacted due to the revolution. This raises the question, “How Revolutionary was the American Revolution?”
The American Revolution occurred between 1765 and 1783. Colonists in the thirteen american colonies had disagreements with the british monarchy and aristocracy. The American Revolution War was also known as the U.S. War of Independence. During these years Americans went through a series of battles and new laws and rules were set. The American Revolution (1700-1790) was a historical event in time, where the Thirteen Colonies that became the United States of America, gained independence from the British Empire. Many historians would agree that the Revolution was caused by events and the growing differences between the colonists and England. The cause of the American Revolution could be summarized in the saying ‘liberty vs. tyranny’. The American Revolution was a struggle by liberty-loving Americans to free themselves from a dictatorial British rule. In this period, the Colonies protested against the British Empire and entered into the American Revolutionary War, also known as the American War of Independence.
