This paper will show how the Christian Worldview has been shaped by the sufferings of God, Jesus and man. Man was initially seen to be completely good and through their actions have created the downfall for all of man. This downfall has led to the suffering of all man, which led to the suffering and resurrection of Jesus to erase those sins and gain redemption for all mankind.
God
In the Bible, God is the ultimate power by which all things were created. He wanted to demonstrate his power to all by calling forth the light, the earth and all creates that dwell on it. When God created man, he gave him one job and one restriction. Man was to tend to and protect the Garden of Eden and reign over the other

God wanted to show man that he too can sacrifice and suffer; therefore he sent Jesus down to dwell among man to show man that God can be flesh. Jesus differs from man in that, he is the word of God and was sent by God as an example of himself for man. Jesus did not have the same flaw of curiosity as man had. Jesus was able to teach and spread God’s word without doubting its context. Jesus was believed to be the Messiah that the people of Israel wanted to free them from slavery. The textbook says, “This coming deliverer was referred to as the Messiah, which means "anointed one." Messiah is the Hebrew term that is the basis for the term Christ, as in Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, kings were anointed. When the New Testament refers to Jesus as Christ, it is not referring to Jesus’ surname but to Jesus’ title as messiah, as king.” (Diffey, 2015)Jesus was believed to be the Son within the Holy Trinity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is also seen as the Word of God in which all this were created. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” John 1:1-3 (The Holy Bible: The New International Version, n.d.) I believe that we, as humans, should look for to listening to what each other is saying rather than trying to convince each other of what we want the other to believe. My worldview and the Christian worldview are the same in we both believe that humans are in their core, good. I also believe that we can return to that “good” nature by being true to ourselves and to nature itself. My views differ in that I do not believe that one “entity” created all that is known. I believe more of the scientific view on how the world was
• Jesus is an unavoidable and deeply mysterious figure. We do not know as much about Him as we would like to know. This can make it difficult to grasp what Jesus was about. People found him confusing in His own day and the same is true today. • One major reason we have trouble understanding Jesus is that His world is strange and, to many Westerners, foreign.
Jesus (the Logos) is existed before the creation together with Father (the Theos). Jesus is God itself. He is begotten from God, the Father. While the Father is not begotten from whomever. The Father and The Son have a special relation and in fellowship with each other, the perfect love between them radiates The Holy Spirit.
These two verses explain the importance of God creating life and all it holds, as well as how mankind was created in His image by His very
God is life, creation, love but is not a human being. The Bible implies that God is love and John 4:8 when it states, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (John 4:8 NIV). Both questions help to further understand who God is and how big of a part he plays in our life. The bible also states, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”
Genesis two uses a different kind of repetition, any time that the Bible refers to God in this chapter it calls Him “ the Lord
“Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (The Bible Genesis 2:7).According to this scripture Adam was the first man created, but before Adam there was of course God, whom is male. Adam was given power over the sea, animals and the land. He had power and
Jesus Christ is a man who has baffled and transformed the new age with his life and legacy. The question arose if He is just a man? Many speculated that He was just a prophet who was profoundly inspired with scriptural revelation. The truth is that He actually is the Son of God and everything he did reflected that of the Father, the
He saw what the wrath of sin was causing for the world. There was hate, killings, stealing, wars, so much evil and suffering that he had to redeem the earth. So, he had a major plan through his only begotten son Jesus Christ whom he sent to revive the world by dying for our sins and on the third day he rose again and ascended into heaven. Restoration:
The Natural World God is the great architect, The Creator, who spoke the world into existence (Genesis 1:1-25). Both His creation and His words, Scripture, reveal God as the creator. Nature reveals this in a general way and Scripture in a specific
In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus is presented as the “Christ, the Messiah” (Mk 1:1 NAB). These are the first words of Mark. However, what does this mean? Through the Gospel, Mark wants to answer this question with several facts. The Gospel is divided in two main sections: first, chapter 1 to 8 shows the human part of Jesus and performing several miracles.
Got Questions Ministries states, “Judaism teaches Jesus was a good teacher, and perhaps even a prophet of God.” They strongly disagree that Jesus died to pay the price for sins of mankind. “In Matthew 15:24, Jesus declared, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.’ The religious leaders of Israel in Jesus' time asked Him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?’ Jesus replied, 'I am,' ... ‘
In most creation myths, an absolute being or beings appear and create creatures. In the Creation, which is Christian creation story, Elohim, God, is indicated as a supreme being. In the preface of the Creation, the author states, “In the beginning, Elohim, God, created the heavens and the earth.” In addition, the creation story asserts that Elohim, a creator of all creatures in the world, creates them by saying words and commanding.
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was and is a miraculous, horrible, and amazing thing all in one. Jesus was created by God, His father, and placed into Mary’s womb to be born as a sinless man. From the time that Jesus was placed in Mary, God knew His plan for Jesus and what He would have to do one day. God knew when he spoke man into existence that we would be sinless creatures in need of an almighty Savior. Even though I, and many others, hate to think about what our Savior went through, I believe it is important.
Everyone knows the gospels are very important to the Catholic Church, But why? We read them at mass every Sunday so they must have a deeper meaning. Well that’s just it. They teach about Jesus’ life on earth, his death and resurrection. They might differ from each other but that is because they were written by four different authors.
Question:"Consider the figure of Jesus in the Gospel of John, the Gospel of Thomas, or the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. Who or what is Jesus, in the Gospel that you have selected?" When studying the Gospel of John, Jesus is identified as the Son of God because the metaphor of the Lamb is used, Jesus Christ is mentioned instead of Jesus of Nazareth and Jesus acknowledges himself to the world as the Son of God. In the Gospel, the Lamb of God is referenced multiple times and distinguishes a sacrifice is in the mist. The reader consciously knows Jesus is God’s only son, nevertheless making the role of sacrifice an even harder burden to carry.
