The Hulk appeals to children in particular who are the main audience for superhero films and also the majority of people who get cuts and scrapes. Due to constant horseplay involved in many young kids lives and their undeveloped clumsiness, it causes them to be the ones who fall and hurt themselves more often and easily. Also, it is common for children to walk around with Band-Aids on, but it become less common and less “cool” to have five Band-Aids on those itchy mosquito bites whenever one reaches adulthood.

In life people always have that one special person that look up to. To them they are by far and idol in their eyes. Just like a child growing, they always had that one superhero they would love to be and hope to be as brave as them. For example Superman, Batman, Wolverine, and the Hulk. These characters are created in different ways to show masculinity and to help give the impression that they are not scared of anything.
Little kids look up to these characters like a hero, and the hero is setting a bad example of what they should stride for in life. Although transmedia storytelling has its advantages, there are disadvantages too. “For a film director or a TV producer, making content for other media from video games to comics is, to a certain extent, a disturbing process of transition. Those trained in the traditional formats of production find it difficult to think in “transmedia terms”. For them, transmedia storytelling is often a secondary, non‐strategic activity, and one that is not really productive” (Scolari, 2014). Superhero games based on Marvel Universe are available which enable the fans to learn and know more about the superhero characters and to connect with the story world.
