English settlers came from England to settle in for a new and better life. Coming from England to the New World they were able to practice their own religion and start their lives over. After Pilgrims settlement, ten years later the Puritans arrived. Their arrival to Massachusetts Bay created history like the events relating to the Pequots Indians. Who were puritans? What were puritans like? Puritans were English Protestants that “sought to purify the church.” They believed that only few are chosen to go to Heaven and the rest be damned.
