Character of Gertrude in Hamlet William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, is a fictional story about the tragedy of the young Prince of Denmark and his fellow companions. Shakespeare, born in 1564, is known to be the most extravagant dramatist, actor, and english poet of all time (Bender 45). His writings are constructed of an English language that influence the world of literature, other novelists, and today’s modern English. His plays are time and again familiarized and compensated for attainment and education. His works are the most beloved and are exposed in multiple different meanings publily and ethically. William Shakespeare’s masterpieces have left an impression that will last forever; Hamlet, being one of them. It’s a drama about the precious and imperfect things in life, the sorrows behind death, the commitment we as humans endow, the glorification and praise given in great things, vengeance for deceit, and the desires that drive all actions. (Bloom 30). It’s storyline is created in the sense of portraying humanity, doing so with the prodigious language and art of theatre. Hamlet, being the main character of the novel, is the representation of mankind.
