When doing a research paper for either college or High school you’ll have many ways to find the information that you need. In the 20th century students tend to use the internet a lot more than twenty years ago. Not to long ago there was a time when you had to go to a library if you needed information about something. For this assignment we shall compare and contrast both sources, a book and a website. We shall find out the differences and similarities of this sources and which benefits the user the most. From what I have observe is that it really depends on the person and what makes them comfortable. The book talks about the history of gun control and focuses on debates from a dozen of distinguished specialist from around the world. It examined the Second Amendment and political climate surrounding laws that can impact the issue with gun violence. It focuses on exploring the problem with gun control from both the prospective of law enforcements and the public. The second source is a website "Gun Control Facts." By James D. Agresti and Reid K. Smith. Just Facts”. This website mainly focuses on providing gun control facts from various sources that are highly credibly. Their mission is to provide data from geographical area and from institutions such as the National Rifle association. The book gathers all information related to gun control from different authors who have also published books. What the editor did was to take all these documents and bundle it up into one book rather than many books. The website on the other hand has links that are cited and which leads to the original website that gather the information. Both are similar because both the owner of the website and the editor of the book did not research these data themselves but rather obtain from a third partly.
