Paul Revere’s influence on the American Revolution In the 1770’s a lot was going on. The British started taxing the colonist with the stamp acts and the intolerable acts. Colonist were angered because there was “taxation without representation.” This started the war between the colonist and Britain. Later France joined the colonist and soon the Treaty of Paris was signed ending the war. Paul Revere was a big influence because he warned other patriots that the British were coming and he participated in the Boston Tea Party.
Paul Revere is most famous for his midnight ride. He got on his horse and “Along the way he risked himself by warning other patriots” (land of the brave.info). This was a big influence in the American Revolution. If others
