How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are a drop cookie invented by Ruth Graves in 1938. They were made in the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. They are made with nine different ingredients. (Butter, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, pure vanilla extract, chocolate chips, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt). There are many different things I can do to the cookie to make sure they come out the way I like them.
The first thing I did was take out all of the ingredients and tools I will need. I mixed half cup of butter, ¾ cup of white sugar, and ¾ cup of brown sugar with a kitchen aid mixer and it turn to a thick brown consistency when I was done mixing. Then I added two eggs and a teaspoon of vanilla to the mixture and it got a little lighter and thicker. I poured two cup of all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ¾ teaspoon of baking soda in a different bowl and mixed it together. I slowly poured the flour mixed in the other mixer while mixing it with the kitchen aid mixer until it was all gone. Finally I poured a twelve ounce bag of chocolate chips into the batter and mixed it all together with a spoon.
After mixing all the ingredients together I rolled the cookie dough in to a ball and placed them onto an ungreased cookie sheet. I placed the cookie dough in the refrigerator for an hour to make sure that the cookies …show more content…

The cookies was a light brown color and a perfect medium size circle. There was at least ten or more chocolate chips in each cookie. The bottom of the cookie was a little darker then the top of the cookie. The top of the cookie was bumpy and the bottom the cookie was smooth. They had a buttery smell with a hint of cocoa. The cookie taste really good. They had a sweet buttery and chocolate taste and they was warm. The edge of the cookie had a crunch to them was and the middle of the cookies was soft.
