To be in National Junior Honor Society you have to have good character, citizenship,service, and leadership. First, I have good character. I take criticism willingly, and I also welcome recommendations. First, I am willing to uphold scholarship and maintain a loyal school attitude. I always have a good attitude, and I am very loyal to the school attitude. Second, I demonstrate mature participation and responsibility through with such activities as school clubs. I participate in Destination Imagination, and last year I did art club and I did creative writing. Third, I participate in some kind of outside activity. My after school activity is softball, I have done softball for about one year. Softball is one of my favorite sports to play. First, I take criticism willingly and I accept recommendations graciously. I always try to get people opinions of my work, and I like to know what I did good and what I can change. If someone recommends something I could do better, then I would think about if it would be a good fit for whatever the recommendation was. Second, I show courtesy, concern, and respect for others. I always give respect to all my superiors and my classmates, I always respect their decisions, and I respect all my teachers. If any of my friends are sad I become concerned, and try my best to help then with it. I am courtesy, I am always polite towards everyone, I never try to be rude to people, I say “ yes mama”, “ No mama”, “yes sir”, “ No sir”, and please and thank you”. Out of the four characteristics of National Honor Society, I felt the most important is, a character. I chose it because what Martin Luther King Jr. he “motivates his supporters not to judge individuals by their appearance, but rather by the substance of their character”. An individual character, ups and downs, can influence others to the nature of being incredible or losing confidence from attempting. Character distinguishes how your behavior shows the way you carry yourself every day and helps build fantastic relationships.
I feel as though I could benefit National Honor Society through my leadership qualities, willingness to dedicate my time to the community, positive character, and perseverance to succeed in academics. While I may not hold many leadership positions at this time, I am able to step up and take charge in any necessary situations. Additionally, one can see that it is important that I take time out of my day to serve others as I devote two hours each weekend to volunteer. My academic standing is also of importance to me, believing that consistency in school is a crucial factor in achieving success. I challenge myself by choosing to take any honors or AP classes available and striving to put forth utmost effort in each class.
To be a successful, it is essential to show all five pillars of National Junior Honor Society. I believe that I represent these elements and can fulfill the requirements of the organization. As a consistent straight-A student, I demonstrate the ability to complete assignments responsibly with a persistent growth mindset. To be scholarly, I focus during tasks while managing my limited time.

Last year at the end of the 1st Semester, I had a 3.7 grade point average. During the 1st Semester, I was busy juggling The Musical, Drivers Ed, and Group Speech.

The first reason why I should be in National Junior Honor Society is because of my leadership skills. The first example of my leadership skills are applied to my youth group in the Cecilton Parish. I am the treasurer and help with the Ideas for fundraising. We, as a group held a spaghetti dinner for the church and I managed the money and the setting. Pursuing this further, I actively show leadership in school.
National Junior Honors Society As an individual i have a lot of good qualities, like being a leader and helping people when they need it or standing up for what i know is right. Becoming a Member of National Technical Honor Society I have many characteristics that would make me an amazing part of the National Technical Honor Society. I have always been a hard worker. I push myself to help my community, work many different jobs with families, I work with bigger companies, and get mostly A’s in school.
