Anti-gun people say that you do not need help from a weapon to save a life. You can only try to escape, reason with the offender or use physical resistance (with the exception of a firearm), and it will work, That 's not true, actually there is a greater chance of injury if crime is complete. These statistics are the same when it comes to theft. Another topic discussed very heavily is the topic of accidental …show more content…
Many anti-gun groups say since 1970 the number of firearms has increased, but forget to say that no murder rates have increased, the proportion of people who did have guns are dropped from 49 percent to 40 percent, but violent crimes rise and fall, so, the number of gun owners has no influence on whether crimes rise or fall. Another report says that every 43 deaths provoked by a gun is more likely to kill a relative than a criminal, but they tend to forget that 86 percent (37 deaths) of 43 deaths, were suicides. The ¨Gun War¨ has been going on for years, everyone has a different view of how weapons should be treated and dealt with. But since the beginning of this country, we have the right to keep and bare arms. There will always be people who try to get rid of guns, and there will always be people who defend guns. No matter what is said, there is a quote from the National Rifle Association that says "Guns do not kill people, people kill people." so I deeply believe that responsibility is the answer to this problem. The sooner we accept this reality the
In the wake of recent events in Las Vegas, the gun control debate has started back up. In one article by Bruce Gold, he gives 10 reasons why guns should be banned. Saying that 98% of civilian gun defenses, no gun is fired. People have the right to bear arms for protection, or even just the pleasure of hunting and recreational activity. With the recent events involving firearms and mass shootings, people are skeptical whether to increase or decrease gun laws. Americans have a constitutional right to own handguns and stricter laws and licensing will not effectively save lives.
Gun control problems Nowadays, we can hear the crimes related to guns from time to time, and each of them is scarified and influential. It is hard to imagine what degree of sadness in their family may suffer. In this way, many people think the government should have stronger gun control regulations.
Whether its accidental or on purpose something has to be done to make sure guns are being used the way they are suppose to be used. Opening I would like to say that there should be stricter rules when dealing with guns. I’m tired of having to turn on the television and seeing a innocent life taken away by a gun purchased by a teen. For example, the school shootings have been very hard to watch and look at. Every time I hear or see one I get very choked up inside.

Most of the Americans use guns as a source to protect themselves and they believe that gun ownership prevents crime. A study conducted on November 26, 2013 showed that bans on weapons did not significantly affect murder rates at the state level (Lane, 5). Moreover, even if the rules and regulations are executed on gun control, not all criminals obey the law.
Some people might say that we need a gun to protect ourselves in the United States, but there are actually various ways to protect ourselves instead of using a gun according to the article, “How Americans Protect Themselves from Crime.” Transition to Conclusion: before the government legislates about the gun control law, we need to be the spearhead that is awake to this problem deeply and carefully. Restate Thesis: I am convinced that the entire civilian should not own guns to prevent the gun violence, and only government officers must be able to own guns. Review Main Points: we realize that erroneous gun possession contributes to horrible gun accidents.
Instead of banning or limiting guns, the evidence will show that removing the current restrictions and targeting individuals instead of guns will be a more effective process. The topic of gun control has two polarized opinions. One such opinion targets the individuals responsible for the crime, instead of just the weapons.
