Dear Person that has no respect for anyone, You are a monster. You are an unrespected being who deserves nothing that this world has to offer. Come out of the shadows and stand proudly in who you are. You are not the best. You are in fact very rude and unpolite, regardless of having a big ego. I don’t like the way you are. I would change you. I see you differently than you see yourself. I am not afraid of you or your lack of a future job... I am disgusted by you. I am amazed by your ignorance, lack of direction, lack of common sense and you are the reason that humanity has its flaws. I don’t accept you, and your worlds of closed-minded thinking and being “the best”. You are not "cool." You are not respected. You are all the lame stereotypes. Focus …show more content…
Their cousin Jenny cured her disregard for others by eliminating the meanness in her, but she has amazing willpower. They say, "She is polite." But please know that your personality has another side to it; the awesome side. (High-five, hope for humanity!) You still have hope to become something else than a pig in a world filled with rhinos. OINK! You are here for a reason. Please remember you are not your best. How could a label ever come close to all that you are? You 're a mediocre, improving spirit. Your respect is a goal and your spirit is a(n) work in progress. You 're totally a person worth working on! You can be respectful! Please remember to think before you act and be respectful towards this world. Remember what you are grateful for. Remember the accomplishments of life and the way respect played into it. Think back on a time when a friend or family member made you nothing till you begged for something. It was because you had no respect in this society. Take a(n) deep breath that smells like hope. Please know you are not alone. You have a family and tools to help you gain respect.

Those without self-respect may have begun their life without support from family or friends which lead them down the path to low self-esteem.
The topic of Dr Frankenstein playing God can be related to the current day issue of abortion laws. Creating life should just be the act of God and taking it away is in the same context. Twenty years before Shelly published "Frankenstein" Luigi Galvani discovered that electricity could make a dead person's muscles twitch and simulate some type of life. This portrays the belief that reanimation is possible. The common belief of Dr Frankenstein playing God in this novel can also be portrayed as an issue between all religions.
These are examples of some traits a person can earn respect from normally. I say “Normally” because in all facets of life respect is almost always something to be earned and given on a personal level. My personal view is that showing respect is more a statement about us than those to whom we show it. Others may or may not merit our respect but giving others their dignity protects our integrity and honor. We can set limits, but we do not have to stoop to gross behavior to protect those boundaries.
Whether or not a person demands respect in public or not can determine their “juice”, or self-image, as well as their safety. As we will see in this review, even those from “decent” families
In the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the author uses repetition, rhetorical questions, and imagery to help readers understand how Elizabeth is feeling. For instance, Shelley uses repetition when Elizabeth believes that “she [Justine] was innocent. I know, I feel, she was innocent” (Shelley 63). Mary Shelley’s use of repetition emphasizes how strongly Elizabeth believes of Justines innocence. It is repeated many times to highlight the emotions of frustration and fear that Elizabeth feels for her friend’s life.
The first metaphorical idea this lightning represents is foreshadowing based off the topic of fear. Even in modern times, lightning is an object that many people fear because of the unknown aspects of it—it is unpredictable in its movement and consequences. In the time period that Frankenstein was written, lightning would have been even more of an unknown quantity because of less advanced technology. Shelley used lightning to foreshadow Frankenstein’s biggest fear: meeting the monster. And a little while later, on the mountain, this element of foreshadowing came to fruition, “I perceived, as the shape came nearer (sight tremendous and abhorred!)
How far can a man go before he hits a wall? In science, there seems to be no wall. But a barrier, a barrier of ethics. In modern times, man has turned himself into god with astonishing scientific advances. Vaccines, artificial intelligence, too many modern accommodations, and the subject of Mary Shelley's classic horror novel, giving life to the dead.
There is a direct link between self respect and an individual's response to injustice. When someone treats us poorly, we might feel the need to fight back because of our self respect, but if we don't we’re letting people control and take advantage of us. It's about proving our self worth and equality amongst our peers. In the novel “Hamlet”, Shakespeare has created this man Hamlet who's father the king has been slain by his uncle Claudius, who is now wed to his mother Gertrude. Before all of this happened hamlets life was perfect, he was going to school and had a lovely girlfriend, heir to the throne.
Although, in today 's society disrespect is more common that is not the case for everyone. Respect is something that people have or they do not; it is mainly taught
This pure hatred has always existed on this cruel earth, and will never truly go away. Some specific stories where a lack of respect is a theme could be “Black Girl” and “Marriage is a Private Affair”. In these stories, blatant disrespect is shown toward certain characters throughout the stories. Again, with the reasoning being mostly about their gender or skin color.
I also feel the need to be respected because sometimes people want to treat me like I don’t know anything since I don’t really talk too much. I also like when people think that I don’t stand up for myself because they try to treat me like I’m a weak person, but when they start doing that, it’s when I stand up for myself and show them that I don’t like to be disrespected. I always use my fellowship face everywhere I go, so I can fit in with everyone and be like by everyone, even though I know that there are always going to be some people who won’t like me. When I use this face, I always stay true to myself, because I never change the way I am to try to be like by
As mentioned by Harvard psychology professor, Ellen J. Edgar, “With self-respect, we like ourselves because of who we are and not because of what we can or cannot do.” (Edgar 1) Self respect leads to a more content lifestyle, a strengthened resolve to lead a legacy that is defined by personal goals. What does not need a Harvard professor for evidence however, is the effect of self respect on happiness. Self respect is one of the less obscure components of leading an a more joyful existence. Without it, people end up in unwanted commitments and lead with a mind filled with resentment and discontent.
My Identity Defined My Identity is a collaboration of the other people who have had an impact on me, as well as the experiences I have undergone and endured so far in my life.. My heritage and ethnicity influences me to an extent, but it does not necessarily define me. I consider my identity to be how I see myself and what strengths I posses. I have produced the identity I hold, and outside forces have only positively influence me and helped to better myself as a person.
There are many reasons why respect is the key to success. Throughout our lives, we will work with many people. Whether we like them or not, we still need to respect them in order to complete the assignment. For example, a teacher pairs me up with people I dislike. Even though I dislike them, I still have to work with them and treat their ideas and opinions with respect.
