Not to mention many may feel that it violates communication skills. Little do people know that technology has reflected too many in a positive way. Adolescence, and Emerging adulthood. Adolescence means identity, as for emerging adulthood it has conflicts with identity. When they are put together, it changes into emerging adulthood (Pempek, Yermolayeva, Calvert, 2009). Throughout one’s life, a person could feel like they are closed up. With the help of social media, many have discovered that they are able to express their self. They are able to post any information they are willing to share with other viewers around the world. Although, this does not sound exciting, it has resulted to be quite amusing. This is because once a person posts some type of information that they enjoy on their page, they are most likely going to get some feedback from others. By having positive feedback, this helps that person gain their confidence level. It can also break down any barriers that they feel surrounded by and it will help them boost their confidence. Adding to that, having social media it is easily accessible to everyone. You can log in through social media through a cell phone, laptop, desktop, iPad or any device that connections to Wi-Fi. On the person’s profile, they are capable of giving out personal information. Example: birthday, age, home town, and many more. It allows you to share your interest. It allows you to choose who you want viewing your profile. Viewing at one certain social media, Facebook, this certain social media allows you to choose what certain posts you would like to share.
