Biography Questions: Tom Thompson QUESTION #1 : What do you learn about Tom Thompson in the first paragraph? From reading this biography I learned in the first paragraph that many canadians know the group of seven but they are not familiar about Tom Thompson, a Canadian who had played a very important role on how the group of seven came about. He sold a painting called “Northern lake” when he was thirty four years old in 1913 and sold it for $250.00. Event 6: Tom drowned on July 8th,1917 in canoe lake when he was only thirty nine years of age. Martin Btetcher found his canoe on July 9th and his body was found on July sixthteenth. Event 7: His death will always be a mystery because no one really knew how his death occurred.
