The war of 1812 is known as the “The Forgotten War” even though there were many important things about this war. In this paper, I am going to discuss, the role of Andrew Jackson, how prisoners were dealt with in this war, the Battle of Baltimore, and the Treaty of Ghent. The Treaty of Ghent is the treaty that ended the War of 1812.
