He possesses the characteristics of a tragic hero. His tragic flaw leads to his unfortunate demise. He deserves the title tragic hero because of his noble temperament. Brutus is too honorable and too naive. He thinks that everyone is trustworthy and noble. He possesses a fatal flaw and he makes a judgement error that leads to his own destruction. Brutus is very easily manipulated and tricked. Brutus possesses many characteristics of a tragic hero. He has a sense of loyalty towards Caesar. He also is loyal to Rome. He was easily manipulated and tricked. He gets letters thrown into his window, by Cassius, trying to trick him into taking action against Caesar. Brutus was also manipulated by Antony in the speech. Brutus had no idea that Antony would use emotions and try to get into the crowd’s heads and feelings. Brutus simply explained why he did what he did in his speech. He explained how he felt it was for the best of Rome while Antony went further down the path and ended up getting the crowd angry and Brutus and happy with Antony. Brutus is very trustworthy and noble as well. If Brutus says he will do something, he does it. Brutus doesn’t go behind anyone’s back intentionally. He was very loyal to Caesar and trusted by Rome and many others. He is also very honest and doesn’t lie. Brutus follows any orders that he is given and listens to Caesar when he is told to do something. He may have killed his best friend, but he was trusted by many before he did kill Caesar.
