There are several personal strengths with which I have self-identified, that I believe will assist in allowing me to successfully complete my journey through the doctoral program. Chief among these is what I would define as my stress management skills. In that I mean my personal ability to handle common stressors stems directly from my lifelong practice of both meditating and utilizing common relaxation techniques. Also, among my strengths is my ability to manage both the time and travel required attending the residencies and how theses interruptions to my routine will place further stress on my normal activities and responsibilities. Given that, these additional requirements can increase the obstacles that I will need to overcome both at home and work. In essence, becoming proficient in my writing and in the organization and expression of my ideas in a scholarly manner would be my personal meaning of achieving success in the doctoral program. By the same token, I believe that my personal and professional life experience will prove to be a vital asset in my completion of the doctoral program. As, I have over ten years of relevant practice in government, planning, communication, costumer services and online work environments, including a period where I worked in a clinical setting during the process of upgrading their system from paper to electronic health records, by supporting the project management team throughout the various phases of implementation. This involved assisting on a Strategic Planning committee, managing timetables, and organizing meeting minutes, maintaining action steps, and developing social media interactions. The position also is a segue into my current educational goals, which are geared toward a Human Services Degree. Over the past twelve years I have worked in the health care field. While working in the various jobs I have had several administrative assistant duties, which included patient intake, data entry/analysis, inventory management, etc. As previously stated, this position consists of patient care and administrative both are predominant in my career growth. My greatest strength would be that I perform well under pressure and that I enjoy teamwork. I have had many opportunities where I have had to perform at my best even with a great deal of pressure on me. For instance, I was in the Kennesaw State Math Bowl two years in a row, we practiced every day for months after school, I felt prepared, however, when it came time for the competition I was very nervous! I remember learning to take a moment and take deep breaths to calm my nerves, after that I was ready to do my best, we won both years! I also feel that being in Band playing the trumpet has taught me how to perform well under pressure and how to work well in teams, we recently had a Large Group Performance Evaluation and competition where we had to learn a new piece of music in ten minutes and then perform it in front of an audience, our group was told that we were one of the best performers and our evaluation coach felt the trumpet section did perfect.
Hello, fellow classmates, I really enjoyed this week's discussion about hardiness. Olpin and Hesson first define commitment as having confidence, determination and someone who finds value in a stressful event (2013). Secondly, Olpin and Hesson define the challenge as accepting and adapting to stress for an opportunity for change (2013). Thirdly, Olpin and Hesson define control as a belief to bring about change and a solution to the problem (2013).
Stress levels have peak periods, and around mid-term and finals periods possibly presents the most concern. I will need to ensure I engage in mindfulness, keep on top of my work and remain organized in order to reduce potential
Throughout this semester, I have learned a lot from this class about my strengths and weaknesses in my writing and my preparation for in class writing. From the writing opportunities that were available in this semester, I have understand that my technical skills, like grammar are one my strengths in writing. Moreover, another strength of mine is that I am willing to revise my work, so it can be free of errors. However, I have realize that I have many weaknesses in my paragraph and essay writing, and this is mostly caused by lack of development in the ideas that I put in my writing. On the other hand, I realized that my writing has improved when I compare my recent assignment to the first assignment that I did in this class, I can clearly see
A trait is a distinguishing quality or characteristic (adventurous, affable, conscientious, dependable, discreet, fair, observant, impartial) typically belonging to a person. Pick the traits that best describe your personality. Include at least six traits and provide an explanation why these traits describe you. The six traits that best describe me are one, my openness to experiences, because I like to experience new things, such as when I went to that french, restaurant, and also because I really like trying new, and weird foods, or finding things I could do, such as driving places I’ve never been before, or researching things.

In this part I will review myself, about what have I done and what can I do, so I can be closer to my vision. in order to save for my future family. A psychiatrist comes with many job requirements and rewards. Such requirements include being social and patient. You need to be able to converse well with your patients and be patient with them. Curing patients with mental disorders is not something that can be done quickly.
When it comes to writing I have weak and strong points. My strongest point out of those three elements would be making sure my writing is factual in basis. This happens to be my strongest point because I find that when it comes to doing research for my writing it is much easier. Maybe because I know what it is that I 'm searching for before I decide to begin. Also, researching your information gives it more of a firm stance and makes your information a more reliable source.
Although I have dealt successfully with day to day management , coordination of projects and programmes for different NGO , I now strongly feel the knowledge gap when executing projects due to lack of sound theoretical background, which is one of the major obstacles for me to advance my career in this filed.. Socially concerned, ambitious and motivated individual with over15 years’ experience and expertise of working in voluntary, non-profit , I feel I have the qualities required to study at degree level and to make a real contribution to the course. I am an extremely organised person, I can work to deadlines and I consider myself to be a good communicator, having worked with literally hundreds of staff over the years . My current career ambition after graduation is to find a suitable role within an international organisation, ideally with specific focus on assisting people who have been displaced due to civil unrest, war, famine or other natural
