Daniel Goleman’s article: Leadership that gets results, is from the Harvard Business School archives. Daniel Goleman is the noted author of the book Emotional Intelligence. He thus combines his findings in emotional intelligence with research on leadership styles done by Hay/McBer. The research displays 6 leadership styles. The author does not conclude that there is one best style, on the other hand stating that the best leaders practice each of these styles or at least a number of these styles multiple times in each week. The research shows that the coercive and pacesetting styles have a negative correlations on organizational climate while the other four styles have a positive impact. Thus, except for unusual circumstances where coercive and pacesetting styles might be appropriate, leaders should normally use a combination of the authoritative, affiliative, democratic and coaching styles to achieve success. Not all leadership styles are the same, especially when supporting different messages. A perfect example would be Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X, as both were great leaders of the Civil Rights Movement but both supported different ideas, and with different ways of supporting those ideas. In his “I Have a Dream” speech at the March on Washington in 1963, Dr King had a very optimistic and inspirational tone. He used things like imagery to support the idea of reaching racial equality through integration instead of segregation. Dr. King grew up living in a very loving and stable home.
In this paper I will begin to describe and analyzing the similarities and differences between Confucian and Taoist styles of leadership. These two main ideas are closing related in different ways but yet these two are different key concepts that are also different from each other. These are both types of religion, if one is not used in a sentence the other one is probably being used. I will be talking about each of these terms of styles that are forms of leadership separately. Then I will be taking both terms and talking about their similarities and differences.

Leadership Styles and Their Results Introduction Within the discussion, we are asked to review the two leaders and their leadership styles. Then identify which leadership style was used in both scenarios briefing to their officers, and compare and contrast those styles. Then explain if one style was better than the other for the scenario presented. We will also have to explain which leaders’ communication style was more motivating to their officers, and the leadership style that could result in the best officer outcome to the new program and why?

This model states that in this 21st century, it is impossible to rely on one management style to fit all situations (Educational-business-articles.com, 2016). This paper will examine the three leadership theories, identify how they apply to my practice, and explore how these theories interact with each other. The Trait Leadership Theory is based on the belief that a person is born with special traits contributing to natural leadership abilities. Studies of famous historical leaders have been used to identify various traits for this theory. Although the list of traits differs from study to study, there are five major traits that are consistent throughout most studies.
