I seldom post about politics or anything that goes with it. Am I playing safe? Am I afraid to show off for what I’m believing?
Much has been said about politics. And I’m afraid that this post might have a hypocrite impression to anyone. But for once and for all let me say something about my stand. Okay right, I’m prepared for any opposition. but will my stand matters? i don't know. i don't care. if waited for applause, i will never write a word.
America’s newest President is Donald Trump. (I’m not a political genius. But I still have the rights to say something ha.) And people across the globe have their eyes on the Americans. What will happen to his governance will certainly affect other parts of the world. I don’t care who wins not because I’m not an american. I don’t care because I know who rules above all rulers.
A brother is right when he posted this on his facebook account:

Just to give you a little background, Nebuchadnezzar once ruled Babylon. He was so great during his reign but he was so cruel. Daniel, from Israel, was under his rule because they were set into captivity. He was known as a man of integrity and prayer too. He interpreted dreams for the king. He served the king faithfully in the palace, because in his mind, he was doing it for the God who put the king on that position. He never rallied. I

The decision was influenced by myself, because he’s a fellowmen from Mindanao (a kababayan), we prayed for him at church too. So why did our church prayed for someone like him? (many have been wondering that time why some local Christian church supported him. However, our leaders did not forced us to vote for him. We were given freedom too.) The night before my first time to vote, I prayed about it too (because a proverb says that in everything we do, we must consult God first. I know that other Christians who didn't vote for Pres. Duterte prayed too. And we have our own decisions according to our
Bush’s decision to address the nation right away turned out to be a good decision. If he had waited a couple of more hours or even a few days the American people would have lost hope and respect for the president. The audience response was supportive and peaceful which is why Bush’s approval rating grew from 55 percent to almost 90 percent. Bush used people’s terror and sadness to entice action. His speech was formal and well prepared.
The 2016 Presidential Election was one of the craziest events in United States history. Obviously, Donald Trump won and it affected millions of people, whether it was in a good way or a bad way. In the article, “Donald Trump’s Inaugural Address Was Great”, by James Poulos, Trump was considered to be “great and logical” (Poulos). However, in the article, “Don’t Believe the Populism of Trump’s Inaugural Address. Our President is a Plutocrat”, by Ryan Cooper, Trumps is considered to be a terrible person, and he does not to deserve to be president.
Apparently, the he-said-she-said roller coaster between President Donald Trump and Rep. Frederica S. Wilson has a third side: the mother denies Trump's version of his condolence call and said the commander-in-chief was ill-mannered about her fallen green beret son, Sgt. La David T. Johnson, who was killed during a mission in Africa. U.S. Special Forces soldier, La David Johnson, was killed along with three other green beret members during an ambush attack in Niger on Oct. 4. Reportedly, the military service members were part of a support mission when they came under surprise fire.
The audience feel respected, powerful and influential when Trump says: “Represented in this room are some of the remarkable citizens from all over the worlds. You are national leaders, business titans, industry giants and many of the brightest mind in many fields. Each of you has the power to change hearts, transform lives and shape your country's
For many days we Canadians have impatiently waited and yearned for that day to come, the day on which the results of the 2015 Federal Election would be released. Finally, that glorious day has arrived, the day where we Canadians got to hear the name of the very being that we would share our pleasure and happiness with in times of prosperity, and would look up to for hope and confidence in moments of uncertainty and despair, that name was announced today. The very name that would be our nation’s pillar of strength, our nation’s face of resilience, our nation’s voice of wisdom and reason, and our nation’s highly esteemed leader…that name is Justin Trudeau. Despite the well tried efforts of Mr. Stephen Harper and Mr. Thomas Muclair, Canadians
As Albert J. Beveridge pointed out in Document B, “would not the people of the Philippines prefer the just, human, civilizing government of this republic to the savage, bloody rule… from which we have saved them?” Just, human, civilizing? Strict, biased, Christianizing was more like it. In these islands, the United States of America once again made the same mistake it had made with the Native Americans. Determined that there way was the best way, ‘the slaughter of the Filipinos’ (Doc.
Overview America is still in shock. The world is still struggling to come to terms with the result of the American Presidential elections. Like most of Americans and the world, nobody saw it coming. Nobody thought Donald Trump could win. Even Trump's supporters didn't imagine he had a chance.
Everyone knows that United States Presidential election is not only a big deal for America but for the entire world. Since America has one of the largest economies, it has a great effect on how other countries operate. With Donald Trump running for the Republican Party and Hillary Clinton running for the Democratic Party the whole world is watching as the debates unfold and the plans are reviled. Donald Trump has a plan that sounds reasonable and can be reached while in office. On Donaldjtrump.com it states that his vision for America’s economy is to create 25 million new jobs over the next decade.
Here are some views as to why Donald Trump won from people around the world to CNN to twitter to Facebook. In a conversation with some friends on November 7, 2016,Professor AkuffoI argued that Donald Trump will win the presidency of the United States of America and that should not be surprising at all. To the majority of people, Hilary’s win was largely written on the wall. Yet, the outcome of the elections is ONE BIG DECEPTION for these people.
He states, “We will defend our allies and our interests; we will show purpose without arrogance; we will meet aggression and bad faith with resolve and strength; and to all nations, we will speak for the values that gave our nation birth.” The repetition of “we will” brings determination, and inclusiveness towards the audience. Bush outlines what America will do as a country, not what he will do as an individual. The American people feel united with Bush as if they are all the same team. He avoids speaking out his own political aims that might be deemed as controversial.
He appeals to the anger of Americans by saying things such as, “For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of the government while the people have borne the cost.” and “Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth.” (5) He joins in this anger in order to unify the nation and call out the other players of the government. This outpouring of emotion from the president evokes a heated tone that may just cause an uproar. Trump wraps-up his speech by repeating his famous phrase over and over.
Argumentative Essay Peter Baker is not only an author of many books but he also is a columnist for the new york times. Mr. Baker tends to focus on one thing when he is writing, and that is politics and with that is Donald Trump. Baker has written many articles on this president but i am only going to give my point of view on three of them, “Trump Says His ‘Nuclear Button’ Is ‘Much Bigger’ Than North Korea’s”, “Trump, Defending His Mental Fitness, Says He’s a ‘Very Stable Genius’”, and “Souring World Views of Trump Open Doors for China and Russia”. Throughout all three of these articles there is but one thing in common, the bashing of trump. All these articles just point out all the bad things that trump has done during his term as president so far.
He was strong, a man, brave and humble. His particular traits led to him being a better leader and having a better chance of his followers listening to and following his
Steve Jobs is still the world’s greatest corporate storyteller. The iPhone presentation unleashed a wave of enthusiasm towards Apple that they are still riding today. Here are listed the techniques used. First, constant interrogations helped the audience’s understanding and cached their attention.
In his inauguration speech, he motivated and inspired his audience using his well thought arguments and passionate tone, as well as his use of rhetorical strategies. Donald Trump is usually thought of as a powerful speaker partly due to his arguments. In his speech, his points were clearly laid out and easy to grasp. One such argument that he uses is America’s current state in both economy and general state of being, as he clearly states when he says, “We 've made other countries
