The task of this investigation was to determine wether or not Mr. Karazai hung himself or if there was fowl play involved in his death. On May 16th, 2006, Mr. Anton Karazai was found dead in the piano room of his estate. His body was found hanging by a noose from the chandelier, two feet atop a stool that was still standing, and his hands had been bound together in front of his body. Across Mr. Karazai's Adam's Apple, a thin laceration was found. Also at the crime scene pieces of piano chord had been cut off the piano. Mr Karazai's son was the one that put in the report to the police. I believe that Mr. Karazai was murdered by his son, who wished to gain his inheritance earlier, using one of the cut piano chords and was hung by the drape chord in order to throw off suspicion. …show more content…
Karazai is a week old man who could hardly harm a fly with his extremely weak legs. If Mr. Karazai was found hanging two feet above the piano stool, then it is unlikely that he could have lifted himself up to hang himself. Therefore it is highly improbable that Mr. Karazai would have been able to have hung himself in this way. The next largest piece of evidence that Mr. Karazai could not have killed himself is that his hands were tied in the front of his body. If the noose was hung high above him from a chandelier, then it is unlikely that Mr. Karazai would have been able to reach up and put the noose around his own neck. Therefore it is unlikely that Mr. Karazai was the person who put the noose around his neck. The third largest piece of evidence in this case is that Mr. Karazai was found with a thin laceration to his Adam's Apple. Mr. Karazai was hanging from a wide drape chord. If the cut was thin and skin breaking, then it is unlikely that the drape chord could have produced such a cut on the victim's neck. Therefore it is unlikely that the drape chord would have been the murder weapon that killed Mr.
The murder of JonBenet Ramsey is a crime that received national attention and was seen on nightly news stations and talk shows across the country. All of this attention made the case extremely controversial (Saferstein, 2015). It is now over twenty years since the murder occurred and the case still remains unsolved. The development of DNA evidence has played a critical role in the course of this arduous investigation (Saferstein, 2015). Crucial mistakes were made from the very start of the investigation by police and then by the district attorney, Mary Lacy (Saferstein, 2015).
On the second night of March in 2016 in the quaint city of Burlington, Iowa, the body of 16-year-old Kedarie Johnson was found stuffed in an alley with two gunshots to the chest, a plastic bag shoved down his throat, and a bottle of bleach by his side. His murder in cold blood triggered a cascade of events that led to the murder trials of two men, questionable and controversial federal involvement backed by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and new light shed on continuing debates of gender identity inclusivity policies and legislature in the justice system. The Victim and His Murderers: Context A “popular junior, known for his infectious laugh and dazzling grin,” (Davey, 2017) Kedarie was an admired member of his community whose sudden death shook the inconsequential city he’d lived in. His family moved from the West Side of Chicago in hopes of a better future to the predominantly white area.
On February 9, 1999 Hae Min Lee was found in Leakin Park, Baltimore, Maryland with signs of manual strangulation. The state claimed that Adnan Syed, Hae’s former boyfriend at the time was responsible because they believed he was enraged of their relationship ending. My claim is Adnan Syed is likely not responsible for the death of Hae Min Lee, because there was insufficient evidence to prove he was guilty and the trial was unfair, it was based more on his racial background than the actual case itself. Adnan can be proved innocent with Don’s odd alibi and suspicions.
However, during a series of x-rays performed on his body in 2001, a stone arrowhead was found lodged in his shoulder. This lead researchers to believe that he was murdered. The arrowhead would have hit his subclavian artery, causing him to bleed out and die within an hour. Many theories have arisen since this discovery about possible ways he died, including being killed by thieves or even his own people. Some also believe that he held some position of power due to the copper axe found on him, as mentioned previously.
You may or may not know who Meriwether Lewis is, but he has had a very important role in history, especially that of Louisiana, and the cause of death has been argued upon for years. He was a member of the state militia, he helped quell the Whiskey rebellion, a Pennsylvania uprising that was led against taxes, and he was a friend of Jefferson’s. Quite possibly his greatest achievements were governing Louisiana after the purchase, and the Lewis and Clark expedition. He had a major role in the Lewis and Clark expedition, which was to collect data of the plants, animals, and land forms he encountered. He had been picked by Jefferson to be the governor of Louisiana, he was travelling to DC at the time to have the government reimburse him for
After the witness declared, Mors politely confessed to the officer he had killed eight residents of the old peoples home were he worked at as a nursing assistant. He initiated he used arsenic, opium, and morphine to poison his victims and decided afterwards to devise another method that was less likely to leave any evidence. His new method was to pour chloroform into his victims mouth and when burn marks around Mors victims mouth would appear he would use a layer of Vaseline to prevent it. It was not long as Mors continued to get away with his murders until elderly patients and even some staff had about Mors to the police.
The murderer was sitting above where he did the body, police say. No one knows why the murderer did what he did or why he confessed. However, the only thing that the police got out of the man is that he kept on explaining how he was not insane, and how much of a genius he was. The murderer has been charged with 35 years in prison. “I
Murdering a Pharaoh Every calendar in Egypt began and ended with one person. That person encapsulated the ideals of the Egyptians society and reigned as god. He was vital for the citizen’s protection and existence. This person was Pharaoh, and time stopped when his heart stopped, and in The Murder of Tutankhamen, Bob Brier explains the events leading up to what he claims to be the tragic murder of one of Egypt’s most loved Pharaohs.
To the dutiful members of the jury, my team and I thank you for being a part of this painfully tedious process. It is up to you and your civic duty to establish the fate of this case and this man. We highly suggest that you listen to your heart, do you personally believe that this man should be exonerated? Should we allow a man, a creation of the slums and wittingly knows his way around a knife, walk free? There is no doubt that there’s a level of surmounting evidence that he is guilty, he has the track record of a criminal and it was about time that he would murder someone.
Who really is the murder of Hae Min Lee? Two high school teenagers who go to Woodland High School are suspects of Hae Min Lee’s murder. Hae was murdered by manual strangulation, but there was not enough evidence to prove Adnan guilty. Adnan’s friend Jay admitted to helping Adnan bury the body. An investigative reporter named Sarah Koenig made a podcast in 2014 about Lee’s murder.
They could not find anything that had blood on it, but when the police looked at the evidence further they realized that the murderer had to have been in the

It wasn’t until the early hours of the following morning that the shooting finally stopped. The sun brought itself up over the ridge to illuminate the awfulness of the previous night. Some townspeople were found bound and gagged, held at gunpoint.
